    m.o./a.e./s.o. or m.o./s.o./a.e

true, ld didn't play m.o. prior to a.e. reason probably he has not overcome the 'scare tactic':D:D

or probably m.o. & a.e. they are too far in between.

the above subject to somebody switch s.o. first before a.e.!:D:D

ld: i play major only no more minor tournaments?

it's just an idea shared, ;) probably ld won't play s.o. after he play/win/lost a.e. but if he keeps missing the 'smaller tournaments' like m.o. & s.o. and the rest of the world players follows his habits then probably he will be cornered in one of the major!:D

My take is LD is hanging around for 2 more years for one reason only and that is OLY12. All these WC, AE, AG, forgetable SS are just roadblocks to get qualifying points and LD has all or most of them already. Really what the heck is another SO means?
If LD wins OLY12, can you picture how big is that in terms of everything relating to badminton...from endorsement deals, huge $$$, LD could potentially be the next Lining in CHN (think business after badminton), history in the making as the only 2X OLY gold, the greatest of them all in badminton achievements and in the biggest or eventually the biggest economy in the world. Too much at stake and OLY12 is the key...If OLY12 is held this year, win-lose (no draw:D), LD retires. Come to think of it, LD skipping SS and appearance in photo-op would get him more $$ for appearance fee than playing 5 days only to win a meagre $17K. Too much work, my friend.;)

Lin Dan can nitpick whichever tournament he wants and it is obvious which is which (majors).

Can I play him while he is hops on one leg:)?

LD Streetwear? Like FUBU, Phatfarm, Bathing Ape, etc.? Really?

If anyone knows how to beat LD, there is a job waiting for u;) LD in the past, tends to take his opponent lightly and he lost (e.g. OLY04). But those are in his younger days. Come the majors this time, I bet he will train like no tomorrow and 100% focus...the way I think LD can be beaten is his form sucks on that day like in AEG09 and his opponent play the game of his life standing on water:D

    sun tze

i wouldn't do that in my dreams or even if anyone wants to dream of that it's highly unlikely.

    maybe apply sun tze's tactic?:D:D

    Anticipating Opponent
    Sun Tzu said:

Those who bend other leaders, do so by means of disadvantages.

Those who tax other leaders, do so by means of activity.

Those who hurry other leaders, do so by means of advantages.

Therefore, in executing a good strategy, better be prepared rather than assuming that they will not come. Lie in wait for their appearance.

Better ensure one's defense is impenetrable than presuming that they will not attack. Appear in a place they cannot attack.

u can say tang fu+LYB out foxed misbun brothers:p
Since misbun had admitted LD's advantage is changing of tactic on the fly. Can't he do the same for lcw? Knowing about it and do nothing is a shame isn't it?

lololol, last minute withdraw is also changing of tactic on the fly too lah:p:p

    maybe misbun should do this:
don't enter lcw in certain tournaments.
If LD is in the draw and lcw is fit and ready, make a last minute entry.
I doubt bwf refuse a late entry from a big name player like lcw:p:p

yes, you are right, like i mentioned 'dirty' cba, no doubt they don't cheat but they just out-smart others and that we can't say much, just sitting ducks!

on the late submission, it may work - caught him by surprise but on the other hand ...ha..ha.. entry can't be accepted is also sitting duck!:D:D:D

i'm not too clear on entry rule how about this.
instead of not entering at all, early entry for HH instead.
When the opportune time pops up that LD entered, make a last minute substitution for yoyo HH with LCW. Is this allow?

i don't think so - in the first place, you just can't don't submit your name when entry open - either one of them would be questioned, interrogated, executed....!

you know, this tactic is one of sun tze's - it's not wrong just probably caught him pants down!

it will be more effective if ld knew lcw not participating using the old trick of injury may or may not affect ld's training. say, if he knew lcw not participating, maybe ld's training focus may drop...just have to figure out a way!:D:D

Cooler, you have outdone yourself! ;)

In one swift move, you have out-thought BAM! :D

You should be getting a call from them soon for your inspired moment of cunning. Like Rexy, Misbun won't be consulted or know about your appointment. :D:D

P.S. May I call you Datuk now?
