    Cool... :)

Have you tried the 9100? How does it compare?

I did try them at the shop. Really good cushion too. Same tech as the LYD but with more of the 9000ACE feel. Cushion for me was LYD > 9100 > 8500 > 9000

Tks, as I have 9100 and had 9000, and feel 9100 has better cushioning too.

    Hi,

Would you say the cushioning of the 9100 or A850 is close to LYD? I'd like something with good forefoot cushioning as i get a lot of pain there. Having seen the LYD in real life i don't think i can pull off such bright a colour! thanks

Sorry can't help with the comparison as it's my first pair of victor shoes.

In terms of colour, to be honest I was a bit worried that it might be a bit bright for me (I went for the pink) but if you look at football players, runners, motor sport drivers/riders etc they are all wearing bright pink/yellow/green colours. It's just a matter of getting used to them.

Can you comment on the width of the lyd? I find the f1n fits my shoes nice but if I get anything wider, even the shb 01 I find the shoes too wide. Do you find the lyd to be really narrow?

I have my eye of the green pair. I just feel pink is going one stage too far. I really like the blue/green 9100 but as they will feel the same as my yellow pair, it's got to be LYD in green for me.

A student of mine has the pink LYD shoes so I got an up and close look at the shoe yesterday. I'm really impressed with them. They are light and cushioning appears to be greater than 9100. The pink is definitely not for me but I can easily see me wearing the green.

Yes Mark you should ;D if you love the 9100 you will love the LYD. Brilliant cushion. But I do find it a bit too tall. In some ways I prefer the 8500 because it keeps me lower to the ground.

I liked the 9000/like the 9100 because they are so low... LYD will definitely need testing before I'd commit.

Ah. Then you may not like it. I find it a bit high. Kind of like wearing short heels rofl. But it's so light and stable enough that I can't complain. It's like the shoe is an extension of my foot.

Is the fit of the LYD really the same as the 8500? Because one of my friends said LYD was bigger than 8500

I tried on a LYD at the store few days ago, for same size 9, 9000ACE and 9100 felt a bit wider fit than 8500 and LYD which both felt the same tightness.
