As we know, China's younger guards are now replacing the older ones. And there are lots of them of Saina's standard waiting in the wings. Therefore Saina will not have it that easy unless she continues to show great improvement.

It's amazing how callous bureaucrats can be :(

Here's the Times of India on Saina's travel woes.
She's been preparing for the Super Series Finals.

And here's NDTV on how they finally resolved it.

ALL the BEST to Saina at the 2008 Super Series Finals

    .
It looks like Saina is not only having China's younger guards to do battle with, but also India's callous bureaucrats.

It's good news that things have worked out fine for Saina..

ALL the BEST to Saina at the 2008 Super Series Finals

Saina has advanced for the semi-finals in Masters Finals in KK.

What an impressive performance from a 18-year-old beating Pi Hongyan and Wong Mew Choo en-route to the semi-finals.

Seriously, I can foresee her to be ranked world number one by the year of 21.

Saina Nehwal is a nice girl. spoken to her many years back. She is a very independant and polite girl.

I have seen her game improved many folds and it is great to see her played. She is young. Only 18 years old but with great potential to challenge the chinese girls in years to come. wish we Malaysian have a young girl like her.

    Congratulaton Saina.

Not since her victory at a depleted Philippines Open a few years ago has Saina Nehwal played as well as she has at the 2009 Indonesia Open.

The gutsy Indian girl has downed China's Lu Lan 25-23, 21-19 in the semifinal.

That pits Saina against China's Wang Lin who trumped her just a week ago at the 2009 Singapore Open.

Perhaps it will be second time lucky for Saina Nehwal :)

Tomorrow will me a World Junior battle:p World junior champion 07 (Wang Lin) v World junior champion 08 (Saina) :D Too bad Wang Yihan lost to Lu Lan in the QF, if not, it would be another world junior battle in the semi final. Seems like all the juniors are improving and performing very well lately, especially Saina. Hope she can defeat Wang Lin tomorrow and get her first SS title :)

Terrific win to reaching her first Super Series final ... But final is difficult as Saina lost against same player in last week's Singapore Super Series quarters and still she is vunerable against top-5 players.

    Good luck Saina!

Saina lost to WL last week, but not means that this week she can't beat her :p CS/ZYL lost to ZYW/ZTT last week, but they defeated ZYW/ZTT this week. So.. anything is possible :p
