I think they wrote on their facebook page that they will launch in the US in July. If you are interested in a direct answer just post on their wall.

Since they seem to be posting release dates on their Facebook, let me give out some info. The following quotes are all on their FB page.

    France - April 2013
    General - Q1 2013
    Hong Kong - March 2013
    Germany - Q2 2013 (spring/summer)
    Thailand -Spring/Summer 2013
    India - Spring/Summer 2013
    Canada - March/April 2013
    Malaysia/Indonesia - May 2013
    UK - Q1 2013
    Australia - June 2013
    Taiwan - Summer 2013
    United States - Summer 2013
With all this information, I think I can safely unveil the information I have since it's mostly on their page. Keep in mind that it can change.

The launch in US is planned for March 2013 (despite the last quote saying Summer 2013). I don't know if this means sales will start in March or if products will be presented in March. They should also have a web site coming very soon. As for Canada, they said that they are still trying to figure out some stuff so they are not ready yet.

Sorry for the messy post, took me a while to find all the info and write it here. I'll try to make it look a little better.

Looks like the black/red is the pro bag, seems a pretty firm bag and premium quality unlike the blue/silver (different design, not just colour) one which is probably on terms with Yonex EX bags. Too bad the blue/silver is the one with a broad range of bags :D, rectangular one still looks pretty okay (style similar to BAG1201W, etc. well more like the EX equivalent then 9231WEX). Adidas clothbag available as well [IMG].
Shoes looks a continuation of the original BD Feather rather than BD Feather 2 (as "feared")[IMG]. Wouldn't hold my breath for the rest of the clothes or shoes though ...

    Kwun,

You mentioned about adidas' catalogue during your conversation.

When would it be available for public ? (hopefully online)

Many thanks for your comprehensive summary. :D

just read from another overseas forum where a shop had demos available.

The AdiPower apparently feels a LOT like the VT80.

Each series will split into "Pro" and "Tour". No clue what that's about.

We should ask Cheung to give Olym Sports HK a shout and get his hands on the demos :D

This is the official adidas website which has a launching count down on it. But I am not sure whether are we able to actually buy their products on that time.

There were a range. Some were head heavy Pro range, Tour were more balanced. To be honest, there were too many racquets to try out and I have a bit of golfer's elbow.

how did you managed to get to the internal URLs? ;)

from what i can see and what is in the site, it looks like they are not final and maybe just for testing the online store.

Some bags posted as well now, blue/silver is called the "Tour" line and the black/red is the "Pro" line and also comes in white/red apparently. Some new colours of the top shoes have been posted as well and the name has been "revealed":
BT Feather (again) -> http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...Adistar-badminton-shoes?p=2034041#post2034041 (can the Adistar part of the thread title be removed?)

(wonder if that logo comes off easily [IMG])
