Guys. Already warned you earlier. The meagre savings is not worth the risk unless u use them in bulk. Putting fake questionable quality strings on our prized rackets is a no no. Stringing them on lesser rackets also can't bring about much pride and confidence.
Well i guess they arent original BUT how do you guys think of the strings? even if they arent leg. they still could be playable, and even be good.
I finally had some authentic NBG95 to compare with and the DX string is definitely fake. Everything about it does not match the characteristics of NBG95.
It's not so much about the quality, it's about something trying to be passed off as something else. I pay for a specific string then I want that specific string.
spot the odds ok guys, a little game for you all.. just received a few packs of NBG-95 from DX (with the help from a foreign source), i place the order to DX and they did not send me anything and had to claim my money back in PayPal, guess DX were smart enough to smell something... scanned the front and back of the packaging, spot something straight-away? (hints: two obvious differences if you have seen or bought a genuine pack of any version before).
by the way guys. DX is a website that sells cheap stuffs. The keyword for Fake/counterfeit is "Designer". As for Yonex products, they are fake for sure. As far as I know, NBG95 does not exist in black
Just got my order as well... The real NBG95 has a distinct smell to it (kinda nasty if you ask me... sort of plasticky)... Tried stringing it on a crappy racquet and I realized that the the strings don't stretch at all... More indication it's fake
I think all the fake strings are basically the same thing. The same strings are packaged under different models. So you think you select the model of string you want, but actually, what you get is the same fake string with different packaging only! You only choose the packaging. That's how counterfeit makes money. Watch this video to know more:
