Haish, I missed SF & F days :( But glad that LCW won the title. Congrats, boss!

If there was Ji XP in the video, the title would be "Wing Chun Practice" lol

How many of those titles would LCW give up for a Olympic gold medal?

The most important thing is he tried his best in 2012 considering the injury. Most Malaysians are satisfied with the effort compared to 2008 where he was outclassed.

End of the day it is the $$$ and cars that count ..

Maybe for him, but I would not want to do that. If he gives up everything for 1 gold medal, he will be merely Ji XinPeng no 2, what's so special about that? Even Ji Xin Peng's trainees think nothing of him (just look at how he got punched by his trainee, the funny thing is the trainee wasn't even an olympic champion at that time). And Ji didnt even dare to voice up or speak for himself after the incident, just show how much self respect you gain for having just one single gold medal. If not for the glamour of the olympic sport and its long history, to be honest...Olympics is just another title.

If he keeps all the SS titles, at least he can brag that he has the most SS titles or collections in the cabinet and I think that record will go down in the history for a very long time. You have a choice: To be a Ji No 2 or become the first LCW in Malaysia.

I'd give up my firstborn for any one of LCW's titles - even a measly GP title....
This is a guy who was forced to take up the game; at an age later than most players.
Forget about not achieving the OG or WC...
From all the current players (not counting PG) he is the best example any parent can want to set for their kids.
His book should have been titled "True Grit!" :D

Well, his book is entitled "Dare To be Champion". I like the original chinese title better, I think it's "Loser become King" -A loser who become a champion, Dare to Lose to win.
So, even if when he retires no OG, no WC, no AG title, at the very least he will known as the one who challenged LD at these years. Or Mr Runner Up major title - 2 OG runner up, 1 WC runner up, 1 AG runner up...to... LD(who else)

Noticed LCW wearing white and super cool like MFrost but brimming with confidence, moving swift like the wind and seems like he knows DPY game pretty well. Also, a mature man by leaps and bounds after consummating his marriage. :D

I think one has to ask the datok to say honestly whether winning the Olympic gold medal will supersede all his other achievements.

I think one should not even equate the Olympic gold with the SS, not even the AE nor the WC.

More than just that. He is the only player ever, who made the strongest National Association create a whole set of strategies just to combat him! :D

I am in a limbo, I hope LD will not play in 2016, because I don't see LCW beating LD at their current form. On the other hand, I want to see them fighting for gold in 2016. LD and LCW are at lesat two level higher than the rest of the field, unless injury occurs prior to the Olympic, LCW will certainly win if LD doesn't play.

That's only your opinion. You have deliberately missed alot of 'firsts' he achieved for Malaysia. The first to stay WR 1 for 199 weeks. The first to win national championship for 10 consecutive years. The first to bring down a barracade of Chinese MS enroute to AE . The first to have at least 6 Chinese coaches analyzing his every game for at least more than 5 long years. The first to let fans around the world recognise where Malaysia is on the map for the past decade. The first player to have reach 10 finals out of 11 tournaments in a single calender year. The first to have the most SS titles in the world. And many more But I also understand that non fans will always try to bring him down on every opportunity present to them, just like how others try to discredit LD by stating that he has never win a SS title in SEA.
