sayaka still crying. but still want to continue. she doen't want to give up. but she can hardly beat me with her limped knee.
she is a fighter for sure. won't give up. that's the right spirit of the game. but feel really bad for her.
she is on wheelchair now. still in tears. touching to see Tine give her a hug. i am sure she also feel for Sayaka.
very very sad indeed. she was leading as well. just extremely bad luck. that's the unfortunate outcome. maybe the training has taken its toll.
replay shows her sobbing non-stop when she realized she cannot reach even the most simple of shot. she realize it was over for her for this Olympics. how sad and how unfortunately.
There is this other clause as well "conducting oneself in a manner that is clearly abusive or detrimental to the sport". I'd say it's the BWF/IOC's wrong adoption or misapplication of the group format (say not conducting a fresh draw after the group stages) that resulted in all the hapless players, should I say victims (what could the players do?), being now subjected to disqualification. Nevermind, I'm so fed up that I don't even want to talk about it in the first place, more or less sensing that after CHN vs KOR tie,the others would do the same just to avoid meeting the top pair. Please don't start any argument with me, I'm simply not interested. The stakes for winning Olympic gold are so high that everybody would do whatever it takes to win it. Who says the Olympic spirit is more about participation, winning isn't everything, really? Peace, peace.
Olympics shld be in this spirit i.e. Sportsmanship, friendship wins above medals..cheers and best of luck for her recovery!
Just read that Sayaka Sato is injured? Feel sorry for her.The Olympics is so unpredictable and full of drama.
