From what I heard, it's just better in terms of durability.

If Mk 2 strings are supposedly good for feather as well as plastic as Taneepak stated tongue-in-cheek, may that not translate as: better durability at the expense of performance in the power/control departments?

Even then, 65 is thinner than 67 and has better repulsion and feel, whether playing feather or plastic.

    Don't take
my or Eepak's word for it. Try it yourself before going back to bg80:)

Coming from Mr. Nanomeasure himself, I suppose I should just take the plunge! :D

    Fer shure! :D

And don't forget to lower tension to 22.75 x 25.25 lbs to account for the drop in string diameter... :p :)

Bought a reel of zymax62 2nd gen neon yellow for 2 months, strung at 26.5lbs by 28.5lbs and broke my strings about 7 times.

What I can say is the zymax62 by far is the best strings I've used as compared to bg80p. Durability wise it's about the same as bg80p, due to the fact that once you mishit, both strings would snap!

So that means I've to judge the strings control and smashes. The feel of the zymax62 is very responsive as compared to the bouncy bg80p and as for smashes, it's another thumbs up for zymax62 as you could feel the power of your smash through the strings.

I just ordered a pack of BG80 (white), BG80P (white), ZM62 (yellow), ZM65 (yellow) and I already have ZM67 (red). I'll give a review once I've tried all of these out though that will take quite some time. I usually play between 24-27 lbs so I'll settle on 25 lbs. for all of them. Right now I have the highest expectations for ZM65 in terms of power and durability, the two factors that matter most to me. Very excited.

I have tried both and while the ZM-67 is marginally more durable, the ZM-65 beats it hands down in feel. I feel confident on mishits that the string won't just snap. I string at 27 lb and it lasts me about 2.5 months. (I don't have the guts to try the ZM-62 yet based on my string breakage record)

Actually for me, every two weeks for entire last year.:D yup, I used up an entire 200m REEL.

Tension ranged between 26x28 and 28x30, but most of the time it was 27x29.

The biggest reason for such fast string turnover? yeah you guessed it. Mishits:p

Thin strings can be strung at high tension with no problems and they just play so nice. Provided you have access to a good stringer and don't mishit too much.

I am trying R4X momone at the moment (0.66mm), though the tension recommended by Gosen is (16-20lbs ), I managed to string at 27.5x29.5 lbs with no problem. It survived after one week and is still going strong though I suspect ZM65 is more durable.

It seems I'm getting better... Better in playing and better in destroying strings :p
Usually I wasn't able to break strings within 5 - 6 months. Now I have broken my ZyMax 65 within 2 months. That's a new record for me :p
Surprisingly the broken area was exactly in the middle of the sweetspot.

I have to say ZM65 is noticable crispier than ZM67. Maybe a new GoTo-string for me. Unfortunately my stringer doesn't have any ZM65 in stock so I have too look for myself.

That means you're ready to graduate to the next level, my young padawan :)... to zm62 with more repulsion, more crispness, beautiful feel, and amazing sound. ;) :D
