The BS11 thing is a bit of a cock-up on Victors behalf. For the life of me I cannot tell why they just didn't introduce a new model if they wanted a flexy Bravesword. Why not just call it the Bravesword 11 FL (Flexible Ladies) or something? I'm kidding. Actually I don't know why they'd want a more flexible version - one lady I know who was a big BS11 fan bought one of the new ones and hates it. She didn't know they'd changed the spec. I've seen this problem before, where companies let distributors design product for them. It's incredibly lame and weak and I loathe it with a passion. It's worse than crowdsourcing. If you don't know how to design product and you're not in touch with trends and don't have a strong vision, then you shouldn't be in business. You don't see Nike asking their distributors to design product for them - they listen to them and analyse the figures, but they don't let distributors do their jobs for them. The problems of that in this global marketplace are clearly shown in this thread. I mean, why have the Flumetec range only in Europe? Was there something about the technology or designs that only Europeans would want? Victor - you don't see Yonex do that, so 'take a leaf', yeah?
I presume because the FLumtec was designed by ze Germans themselves and not Victor Taiwan/China; they really are practically a company on their own/sister company rather than a mere distributor. They used to design the fugliest clothes one could imagine as well . ..
My old spec bs11 is 4/5 head heavy so be careful since they dunt change the stiffness but the head heaviness. It costs about 130usd here NR
Maklike, are u really say that MX60 is rated 3/5, but the actual feeling is same as old stiffer BS11 4/5? I like the MX60 bcoz of its 3/5 stiff rated.. If this not happen, then i need to rethink again. Now i really enjoying SW37 n BS12 for my games... Maybe getting older and older hehehe.
mx60 is rated medium flex for a 7.2mm shaft sw37 is rated medium flex for a 7.0mm shaft mx60 definitely feels stiff compare to the sw37.
maybe the new BS11 is the repainted BS169? Its pretty good especially when you're tired P/S At least victor is pretty consistent. I see the official Yonex chart at my local store stating VT80, 70 and 60 as 5 on the stiffness rating while the UK websites states them as stiff, medium and flexible respectively

No, US is 3/5 HH like the VN one. So you might as well get that one if you want the BS11. Otherwise get the MX60
Here are the correct specs. Going off the websites for new TW and US, using niemrieng's stated data for VN. New TW, US, VN headheavy all the same: [ooøoo] 3/5 US, VN stiffness: [oøooo] 4/5 New TW stiffness: [oooøo] 2/5 That should help with your decision.
Somebody should sticky the post about the BS11's confusing specs. Or at least start a separate post so that it's easier to find for other peeps in the future...
Good idea, I don't think that it's worth all the hassle with different specs everywhere. Always good to try something new!
Maklike European spec for BS11 is the same as the Vietnam spec. I agree with others that it's probably better to stick with MX60, which is brilliant rather than look for former glories. There is a time when a racquet is surpassed or replaced and that is the time to move on and seek the best from the latest technology. Let's hope Victor find their sales of MX60 are good enough to keep the racquet in their range. I'm sure it would help their sales if they had a few more professionals using the racquet. There certainly needs to be more coverage in terms of players and there chosen racquet in an easy to find place. i know some of this information is on Victorsport.com but not on Victor International site.
