My fault Ops ... my fault this time I was talking to Shy/Hsaing at sunday badminton about how pack saturday was and I think he took alot of what i said flyingly as fact ... what can i say idiotic has a new name and its Shy. So to do the world a favour and also celebrate ANZAC i will this saturday get my baseball bat nicked name "Correctional Officer" and head over to Shy place and practise my swinging at his PS2 and those 6 crappy soccer game and 1 even more crappy rugby league game he made us play last Sunday. P.S. You geriatrics asians are real touchy about some subject, we greek mexicans have long leant that the pass is nothing more then raw material for future comedies or bad channel seven's drama
Trophy Hunter Wanted Back to badminton ... Who's playing in the CBA tournament next week, since Anthony is oversea i am looking for a fill in double partner, requrement below : 1) Must be a good player, able to smash and return smashes 2) Have no moral objection to playing in C grade 3) Have a genuine love for a badminton trophy If you fit the shoe, reply to this post .. else take a walk to Adelaide
Nope ... unfortunately it looks like I'll be playing in A grade this time Thought I've been told that there might be a chance for me to get into B grade as well depending on what the comittee decides next week .... hopefully no one on the CBA committee reads this thread
Hey the fixture for the CBA graded tournament is out, and it looks like Jacob and Greg are in the same pool as me in A double ... so prepare to loose Greg Funny setup, there's 3 pool but no knock out, the winner of each pool will form a new pool and they play off and the leader of the new pool wins the trophy.
Are you only playing A grade doubles and B grade mixed ? What about singles ? BTW are we going ahead with food, badminton, food on Saturday ?
No single spot available, i was lucky to get in those events cause i put the entry in late. Wasnt even planning on playing mix, but saw that gary was looking for someone to fill in so put my hand up. And i think i wont be able to make it for dinner or social after the tournament on saturday cause have been ordered to attend a family mothers day dinner at my grandparents place
Who is your partner Vien? There is a new technology in China where I can play virtual badminton anywhere in world. So just give your partner (or a dead body) a headset and I can play here and control their movements from here
I'm teaming up with a guy name Niti, he's in my Monday A Reserve team down at the WSBA Altona comp. Its been 12 weeks in and we havent lost a mens double yet, so should do well in this coming tournament .... Greg and Jacob, they were in our pool, but after seeing the C Grade Champ in their pool they quickly pull out of the event ... chickens Virtual Badminton !!! ... now we know how China's been dominating in badminton .... bring one of those machine with you when you come back
No trophy for this years CBA tournament Because A Double had a second round of round robin instead of the usual knock out phase once you win your pool, we ended up 3rd ... so no trophy, no medallion, not even a participating certificate ... nothing
Anthony you would be happy to know that, that trophy hunter girl you lost to in the Altona Graded mix, won the A single, but lost the A mix to Tim and Sheryl
More than sad - its an outrage! Vien you have been sabotaged by the CBA committee hehe!:crying: Thanks for the update, I don't think I have played CBA in about 3 years! last time was with Dina (Norway girl) and we won B mixed I think...
Nothig to do with the CBA ... just couldnt find anyone like minded who would play in a lower grade ... hey Ant .. r u going to b back in time for the ballarat tournament .. we need to put our entry in before monday 18th may .... b or c grade
