Copper cable wire compatible... It doesn't take long for us in Indonesia to download from that site... I think they deliberately put the server in Jakarta or something. Judging from the content that's all in the Indonesian language, I think it is meant mainly for the INA viewers [who uses copper cable wires]...
You can find it.. ..here, in this same thread, starting with post #102: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23928&page=6
hahaha dunno why i laughed when i saw the pics.. rian looks weird.. luluk's smile.. faint.. alvent looks fine!!! your friend looks familiar.. i think i saw her pics before in the forum.. last year's mvp cup?
Haha.. RAIN!!! Korean singer!!! LOL! yup, and here too.. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44048&highlight=eng+hian
but luluk's smile is a bit weird.. haha actually that is my friend's mom..yah that's possible that u saw her in mvp cup forum or somewhere else.. hehe and RAIN.. oh sorry.. RIAN... haha ( I love Rain.. the korean singer!hehe) indeed looks weird in the pictures, seems that he wasn't really intended to be there. joke. but they know each other.. i mean rian and my friend's mom knows each other because of common friend PURI SETYO.. ( rian's friend who stayed in the Philippines for almost five years to coach..) so there.
hahahaha luluk looks normal in the first pic.. but i agree, his smile in the second pic *faint*.. i always find luluk very funny.. oic, yeah, heard about puri setyo.. didn't know he's been in phils or so long!
if i'm not mistaken : indonesia have no own internet backbone, indonesia 'rent' the backbone (only USA backbone) from singapore , it means that if yannie wants to open ina website (server in ina) (from denmark/europe), she will 'travel' first to USA, then ---> Singapore --->indonesia , not directly to indonesia. but if indonesia also rent europe backbone , yani will open ina website faster (denmark ------->singapore------->indonesia)
haha. his smile on the second pic is cool.. very manly. haha puri stayed here long enough, that in fact he is fluent in Filipino(our languange). u should come also here in next PO. haha
omg.. no wonder it's so so so slow. europe => usa => singapore => indonesia? seriously, indonesia should do something, haha rent europe backbone. yeah jem, i will come.. wait for me k?! :crying: no, too expensive to go..
Rain?!? Hi Yannie, I am in Singapore today. I tried to access Rian's club's website pbdjarum.com from here. Ouch. Takes soooo long... :crying: Now I understand your pain... But my experience in Indonesia was not like this. Very fast. Even from my copper-wire ridden house... On the other hand, accessing badmintoncentral is as fast here as it was in Indonesia... I wonder why that is so... Well, I am not an IT specialist, I'm not going to think about this for too long. Ha ha ha... RAIN....?!? that's a nice nickname for Rian. He often rains his opponents with smashes...
hmmm after inspecting www.pbdjarum.com : www.pbdjarum.com is hosting in local webhosting provider, http://www.modulindo.com (never heard before).. they're so cheap.. i think modulindo doesn't have 1:1 (int:national) internet bandwith ratio, maybe it's 5:1 , so accessing from local (national) will be faster than from outside (interntl)
Yannie, ...Manila and Jakarta is not too far from Fuzhou. I read somewhere that you're from Fuzhou right? My father's side of the family came from Fuzhou too ....er 120 years ago... My dialect group is Hokchiu. But sadly I can't speak a word of it... I am a product of President Soeharto's "New Order" where they strongly discouraged people from speaking Mandarin... Most Chinese in Indonesia came from Fujian province. Many departed from Xiamen (Amoy)... Today the word Amoy becomes a slang word, when Indonesians refer to a Chinese looking young girl, they would say. "Look at that Amoy..." "There were a lot of Amoy-Amoy (many young Chinese girls)" Some of the richest Indonesian Billionares were from Fuqing (Hokchia) that's located not too far from Fuzhou. They include Sudono Salim a.k.a. Liem Sioe Liong and Rachman Halim a.k.a. Tjoa To Hing. I don't know where Rian's parents are from... One of them is Chinese Indonesian right? Actually 90% of Indonesians came from China. They either came 30 years ago or 100 years ago or 2000 years ago. Most come from Yunnan. Anyway, research have shown that Indonesians and Chinese are genetically 99.99% identical.
Hi Krisna! See! Now you finally understand me.. And I think here in Europe, it takes even looonger time to access pbdjarum.com than in Singapore.. Sighhh.. Really? When I was in China, accessing BC was quite fast too. Guess that goes for everywhere in the world? Hihihihihi.. Hahaha RAIN! No!!! Rian & Rain, totally different.. Imagine Rian sing, dance and act.. FAINT. I think sometimes people make typo, then they will type Rain instead of Rian.. Yeah, Fuzhou. Hahaha. Really? 120 years ago! Omg! Hokchiu = Fuzhou? Sounds similar.. In Fuzhou people speak Fuzhou Hua, and not Hokkien (Minnan hua = Min South language) as people do in most other places in the Fujian province. Arghhh.. Yup, I know most Chinese in Indonesia come from Fujian. Maybe I still have relatives in Indonesia.. but I don't know them. Hahaha.. Amoy? Xiamen! Such a beautiful city, one of the most beautiful in China today.. 3-5 hours' drive from Fuzhou (depending on the traffic..) Fuqing! I've been there once or twice in my life! Hahaha, don't remember much.. but still have relatives there.. Dunno where Rian's dad was from.. Maybe Fujian too.. Haha, I'm almost sure! You see Rian kinda looks like those typical Fujian guy.. Seriously, I didn't know he's only half Chinese until he told me.
