The best part, limsy, is: "We are proud doing it for our country." Yeah sure. Flag flying high, badminton is dying.

Ehh. Crappy match by Cai/Fu. Watching the first game I couldn't help but wonder why they do the one thing Ahsan is actually good at around the net - playing fast shots around him all the time...Ko/Yoo showed how it's done in the '11 WC SF! Just play one or two soft shots to him (at the net, mind you) and he'll inevitably fluff it. Yet the Chinese were content to just whip it at him.
They also looked just a tad slow in their legs :D

Anyhow, looks like the MD is gonna be rather disappointing. All that's left now is the question of whether Ko/Lee can silence the critics by beating Ahsan/Setiawan (which I believe they will, unless they try to bludgeon their way through).
Kim/Kim and all Chinese MD dropping out was rather disappointing.
On the plus side, it seems like Shin/Yoo are doing well in their first tournament since Yoo's military service....hopefully it wasn't just the weak draw that enabled that and we get to see a bit more of them in the coming months :)

I think Xu/Ma and Zhang/Zhao would also want to avoid playing against Fischer-Nielsen/Pedersen or Owi/Butet before the WC :p Who would want to bet that both pairs will actually lose today? Anyway, if both win today, they will face each other tomorrow, so, perhaps 1 will play to lose eh?

yes they did it! congratz to China WD team.. well done :)

In other side quite surprised Anneke/Della could puss the mighty Yu Yang/Wang Xiao Li to rubber. I can see there is improvement in INA badminton.
