agreed, is their much chance that the string can break during stringing @ 28lbs, if it is done by an experienced stringer ?
I'm a stringer, and I didn't find it any different from stringing the regular BG65, except that it super easy going through the grommets. Just because of the thinness, I thought it wouldn't have lasted one hour of playing....but here it is still going after 10 hours of playing!!
Thats good to know, I am going to place an order for 10 packs of AP62, hopefully that will take me up until 2011 on my two SW35's, actually I was planning on buying a stringing machine, but thats for a different thread. Keep me up to date with how long the AP62 last Thanks Jamesd20 for your response as well
I love AP62.....thin & powerful like ZM62, but grippy too. I have it in a racket strung @26lbs & used for approximately 20hrs at least to date & no issues.
Thank you. Seems like the AP62 is more durable and performs similar to the ZM62. Will try to procure some and the SOTX HS-63 too. Justin.
Played another 4 hours since the last time...still no notching or fraying yet...very impressed with the string. I still find the tension pleasantly playable. May restring next week @ about the 20 hours of play, just to feel how much tension has been lost. What about your findings, LD rules? Like it...love it...or it's like .. ok?
I haven't ordered mine yet, been quite busy, but will order them in the next week or so, and hope to have them on my rackets by between the next 10-14 days
