I think it will be r0smah... since Datuklee always call her b4 & after a game telling her "Saya Mau MAIN"

Why should DLCW call her after the game? Before the game, I can understand but after?

I still believe Lee chong wei can play his normal game even without his coach, misbun. The coach is only there to guide the player, but the most important thing is the player himself alone.

of course george its the player himself more important :)

say, you or me against lin dan alone and misbun and the thing are at the back of us

    also no use :D

in crucial stage the coach will play an important role

but wait, there must be trust built up earlier during training etc ...

so that the confidence level is there, for that crucial stage :)

Wow, I thought only the Berita Harian reporter is close to Misbun. Misbun's salary was cut by 50% after the 2004 OG

I did not predict Misbun quit at first.

Maybe it is clever enough for Misbun to step down automatically rather than being fired by BAM.

He can still make good money since DLCW will follow him.

Time to let the players or techies to run the show man. Give MS a chance to run it. Everyone have to wake up 5am to be in the court and have discussions. How can the president focus when he has to run another company?

Also, there may be too many big shots sitting in there and collecting money. Time to trim up and back to the basics. Those who CANNOT wake up 5am to contribute everyday, please leave BAM. There is no easy money in life. Many ex players are will willing to do the job. ;) If the coaches and players can sacrifice by doing so, why can't you? ;) I think some are reading this. I hope. ;)

Also select some BCers to join in. I select limsy...so that he can report to us... anyone? lol. ;)

    .
    You were the one telling BAM to fire Misbun when you started this thread;
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?91467-Bam-please-fire-misbun-and-rashid-sidek

We thought that you would be pleased, now that Misbun is gone.

However, after Misbun is gone, we see that BAM is trying to get Misbun back. It looks like BAM is not listening to your suggestion.

and it seems that for whatever reason, firing MS is not in BAM's plan either... they should know that to lose MS means they probably need to source extra cash to offer for new foreign coach... but it is their saving if they can get a great local coach though... and as stated by press statements, MS and LCW won't have problem but BAM is the one suffering...

Maybe they dont need to hire anyone, they just need to use the existing ones as hinted by Rashid.

just pulling your leg, dato :D

    you are ... steady:)

money to him isn't the priority as far as baddy for malaysia is concerned :)

he was offered as head coach of one country

and he needs only 2 years to make what he is making here for 8-10 years:D

There is definitely no doubt to MS's loyalty and commitment.Maybe he is also committed to his family and likes a stable job.
He has probably performed well in his job to a point but change is imminent.
People here put a very high premium on loyalty and long service, but in certain high performance jobs this can backfire and become a disadvantage.
It is now quite common to hire people on contract on high performance jobs and hope that their local understudies can take over eventually.
Can be quite difficult to find lifetime employment nowadays, even if the pay is low,
the person may be looked down upon as someone with nowhere to go and treated as deadwood.
This is not directed at anybody in particular but describes general trends in a struggling economy and especially now in the West.
