    Long Awaited Pictures!

Had a chance to play with the Woven2008 yesterday night.

Racket was strung with bg65 at 25lbs, gripped with karakal pu touch.

The racket felt very much like the Woven7. Comparing to the woven 7,Power lacks abit of a punch, control is there, BUT it is far more mobile compared to Woven7. Defense shots are totally easier.

    My Review
    -----------
    Power - 7/10
    Control/Feel- 8/10
    Defense- 7/10
    manoeuvrability - 8/10

Will play with it more often and give a more detailed review. There are BCers who bought the LTD ED racket from me as well, they might be giving their reviews too. STAY TUNED:D:D

Yes, I think its one of the plain looking rackets which is quite nice. SOTX usually mess things up when they try to be fanciful.:p
I think for sotx, their racket models, bags, jerseys are there to stay. Not like yonex which has "seasons" from ,musclepower -> Armortec-> Nanospeed back to Armortec. Their models is there to stay and they make pretty good rackets.:D. So for the jerseys, i am not too sure.:p:p

How would you rate these rackets to W7?

    Comparing to Woven7,
Power is slightly, just slightly less powerful(maybe its because of my biasness towards heavy rackets.) But control and defense is definitely better than the woven 7. Its stiffer than the woven7 though.:)

I note the specs for this model is similar to Woven 16 except that this model is more head heavy.

Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread, but check with www.maxsports.ca. Michael was doing a pre-order for $99 CAD strung, shipped and tax in. See if you can still get in on it.
