Hey Dan, new series look good :)
I have a question about the handles, are they long, like the at900's?
On the design they look a lot like the old sotx woven handles, with a very long cone, but in the pictures it's not...
Have you considered using the sort of caps yonex calls their "control support caps" on the AT-series?
    just curious

I think that is for you to do, Sir Dinky ;) "Specifications" is clearly FF0000 making the racquet itself definitely more of a Raspberry Jam colour...

It's supposed to be "wine red" - similar to the original Trinity, but with a nice sparkly finish like the Ultra 2.
I think I didn't make it appear glossy enough in that picture, so the highlights do look a bit pink.

Well I'm not complaining, I think it's quite an elegant colour. I do hope we see a change from this striped motif with the Revelation, though :)

DinkAlot, that TC700 got me thinking - have you tried out any new racquets recently? I know you were looking for people to send in Li Ning racquets so you could update your reviews thread ... and I was just wondering what the influences of the next generation of PPs would be.

The "Revelation" is the future of rackets. Actually that future is already here in woven rackets, especially SOTX. Relatively speaking, good woven graphite outperforms the best, regular, non-woven graphite. But there is too much of a good thing. For instance, the TC700 is just that. The TC700 uses Meidai's Tetris Axial (TA) woven graphite which is quad woven (as opposed to bi-axial for regular woven graphite). On paper, TA woven graphite is way superior to anything. But in reality, it's too much of a good thing. I found the TC700 dead and uninspiring. It was like hitting with a washboard. The TC700 was very stiff but not as stiff as the U1 or X2 Gold but it was more demanding than both.

So, right now it's about getting the woven Revelation frame, which is based on the AT900T frame but can take 35lbs. with no problems and match that to the proper shaft.

I may do two versions of the Revelation, one with an extra stiff shaft and one with a moderate shaft. This is still 3+ months away.

That sounds great. I have heard plenty of good things about the AT900T so that sounds like a good source of inspiration [IMG]

    No worries Sir. :)

There are no more U1s. They are discontinued. If you are truly looking to purchase one, e-mail me and I can try and find one for you.

    Dinkalot,

I've just come back from the gym where I thoroughly enjoyed my Trinity 280mm/86g.
So quick, so solid, so lovely.

Thank you for a quality job.:)

Hahahaha I can only buy one of each type. And you'll have to wait for me to raise the funds. And that was only directed towards ssturbo as an apology for my poor description of all the different rackets.
