i've never had problems with a slippery grip when playing with the Super Grap. but i've lost points because of the slippery G10 and G11.
It seems that those users from US or Canada all agreed that RKEP grips are good but i concur my findings with llpjlau that i find it slippery when wet. Hence i think the problem is which part of the world we are in might be the problem as it is very humid here in singapore, hence it gets wet really fast
When you use the Ultimate Grip with a new racket (original grip with plastic wrap around it), do I still need to remove the plastic before installing the Ultimate Grip or just go ahead and install the Grip with the plastic wrap serving as an undergrip for the Ultimate?
Everyone is different; SuperGrap doesn't work for this Panda at all when wet. But then again neither does the G10 and G11 or any other overgrip. If you are truly soaked, as many of you are in SEAsia (due to the humidity), there's really no guaranteed solution other than doing all those things in Panda's Anti-Sweat post. Things to do include: 1) ultra tacky grip, RK's Ultimate Grip is Panda's preference 2) wear a sweatband, 100% cotton to soak up the sweat and change when needed. 3) wear a full length armband, will be synthetic. 4) use tacky powder, Yonex stuff = great 5) dry off your racket grips with a dry towel every 5 minutes 6) rotate among 3-5-10 rackets even Even in very dry Southern California (a desert) some times Panda sweats like crazy, to the point of dripping all over the court despite wiping down after each point. The above helps though.
Just like cloth, every one got his own preference. Since we offer you a easy chance to try that you might jsut take one to have a trial: 1 grip http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130430683850 6 grips: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140426245267 Or just buy 2 unit on 1 grip listing and we give you 1 G05 + 1 G03 + 1 G09 + 1 G11 for you to try

Depend on your hand size and your preference. Some players prefer to have a big grip to get more power (just as many palyers still using towel grip) (but actually it will minus your control ability). Normally we suggest just use a replacement grip to get the best control. In this case that you need to take off original grip on the racket.
Oh ok. So it is advised that I install the Ultimate Grip on the bare "wood/plastic" grip of the racket?
Correct. We expected you to installed on the wood handle directly if you use a replacement grip (thick type grip --- comparing to thin over grip).
I remember applying my Ultimate Grip directly on the wood of my fake Armortec 700 and it resulted to a very thin grip, here are the pictures: What do you think?
Yes, that is pretty good. However, depend on your hand size that I prefer to sharter the gauge to make the grip with more double covered part in order to increase gripping power
The installation that I've showed above is not very good for me, I had a hard time as you can see with the grip of my hand with the racket. I felt the grip as very "thin" and was actually hurting my hand when I'm playing. What I did was actually to remove the Ultimate Grip, add an overgrip that would serve as an undergrip when I reinstalled the Ultimate Grip back. This is why I'm not sure if I should remove the original grip of my new racket first before I apply the Ultimate Grip.
From your image that it was set up to be a plain installed type --- normally used as a under grip in order to install another over grip on it. It actually depend on players hand size and his own preference. We suggest you to install like the white color grip (shorten the gauge in order to increase the gripping power). In your way (plain wrapping) that I suggest you to install on one over grip.
Oh ok. How did you install that white color grip? Overlap of about half the width of the ultimate grip?
