Ideal Yonex Grip Size. Guys....wat is ur most ideal grip size for yonex racquet? IMO, G5 is the best.....n usually the least stock in yonex racquet for the higher end racquet... Share ur opinion here...
It really depends on how big the person's hand is. There is also the factor of what playing style you play, a big grip will give more power while a small grip will give you better control.
then how bout yonex grip size....which is the most ideal? G4 or G5.....which is most preferable in asia or all the member here...( REMEMBER YONEX GRIP SIZE NOT OTHER) then wat is the grip size of all national player using? roughly?

Most likely G4, but it all depends upon personal preference. Some players may prefer G3, some may prefer G5.
ahmeh, there's no need in asking the same question in multiple threads.. You've pmed me about this as well, and I've answered it.
It depends on their hand size. You also have to consider the overgrips and replacement grips pros use.
yup.....but do u guys mind to share ur ...opinion here.... wat grip size u prefer .... (specify racket) why u prefer....thanks...
ahmeh, you first need to get a grip on your thinking Your query is akin to asking: "what size trousers do people in Asia prefer?" It's very very unlikely that all Asians or all BC members have similar palm-sizes or uncannily share grip preferences. phandrew's posts have summed up the possible answers to an impossible question
Exactly, everybody has different palm size and finger lengths. There was a thread that was started by the Almighty Dr. Cheung on the topic of hand size. You should do a search on that thread to get an idea.
Since "U" is the weight, is it also linked to durability of the racket? heavier more material = last better? thinner = fragile. seems logical. but i could be wrong.
Technically yes assuming it is the same racket but different rackets have different technology and materials so it will change this theory.
Rackets with smaller U's are heavier and stronger . Stormfox ... You are correct. For a same model, the recommended string tensions for rackets with smaller U's are usually higher than those with bigger U's. This is because rackets with smaller U's (as you've said: with more material) are heavier and stronger. .
I am just wondering guys, I have two Ti-10 New version at 3u5 and 3u4. I am not sure is it just me, the 3u4 feels heavier than the 3u5. Is it simply because the grip size is bigger hence the handle is more materialized?
A 3UG4 racquet of the same model should weigh the same and have the same balance point as a 3UG5. G5 is a smaller handle (circumference) than G4 but they weigh the same because G4 has more wood taken out in the handle inner hollow than a G5. The same applies to a 3UG2 or 3UG3.
I have a 3UG4 CD coded MP100 and a 3UG5 CP coded MP100 Balance point is exactly the same, but then the overall weight with the same overgrip, same strings, and same tension were 97g and 102g respectively. The CP has more chips in the paint as well! 5g isn't a lot I guess.
