HKV played above himself to stun The Dragon 22-20 in G1. Wake up, Dragon !

 

HKV playing like a man possessed, retrieving near-impossible shots and executing amazing strokes as well.

 

Chen Long isn't attacking well and more erratic than usual...

 

Can't believe Chen Long throwing easy points away like an amateur.

 

HKV got to believe in himself and he might just win this match.

 

After the OG fiasco, BWF still fail to realise that you can't make players play when they don't want to play. They need to get their sh*t together.

 

Chen Long hasn't found his rhythm, not The Dragon today, not yet.

 

Chen Long keeps smashing into the net, arrgh.

 

Chen Long is getting self-conscious and it's affecting his touch.

 

HKV's turn to make a few errors. In the end Chen Long equalizes to force the rubber.

 

yea, i remember that. back in 2007, SS Masters Finals had to be cancelled because BWF couldn't find sponsors. it was hugely embarrassing.

now they have good sponsors, prize money and lots of World Ranking points. But players don't want to play.

Maybe next year, BWF will fine those who are injured!!!:crying:

 

HKV doing more of the attacking while Chen Lon is playing cautiously, not a good idea for CL.

 

A major upset is brewing with HKV playing like that...

Look at his results from all England and German open, very close there to LCW and LD

 

Finally The Dragon is able to impose his game on HKV, in the process getting a bit of the fright himself.

 

Oh, I see. But he got to do it more consistently , esp against lesser opponents as well.

 

Chen Long is often a slow starter, and in this match he's forced to work his way back point by point until he found his rhythm.
