    Ha ha Oldhand, will do :D ; just curious, how did you know that AS 5 is better than AS 40...is it from your personal experience?

    A bit of it is from personal experience.
    Th rest is from feedback - from experienced users.

    We used to play with the AS 5 when we weren't paying for shuttles.
    We switched to the AS 40 when we began paying for the shuttles :p

    The AS 40, unless new, can be brittle and prone to quick damage.
    Quite a few non-Yonex brands play equally well, if not better.
