Aha - she used the 8ST in the final. She might have switched over... finally:).

Just happened to see a Jetspeed 001 on victor website. But it's a junior racquet so I guess that means it's shorter than normal?

Hey guys, new user here lol

So I recently just started using victor racquet, and my first choices were BS-12L and the Jetspeed 8ST.

When I was using the JS-8ST, I'm not sure whether it was because I wasn't hitting the sweet spot, or what not, but when I hit a few shots, I felt like the racket had this ringing feeling. Did this occur with anyone?
Reading the review by Ch1ko and some comments from everyone, everyone is saying there's this numb feeling... is this what you were referring to?

Also, has anyone else used these two particular rackets together? (BS-12L and JS-8ST) comments on comparison between the two? I'm trying to get a 2nd racket for one of these, but can't seem to make up my mind.

Anyone with comments on these would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

Just for reference, what are your previous rackets? Relative to Yonex, Victor rackets are well known for more feel on hit, some even describing it as metallic ringing.

My previous racket would basically be NS9000X. I've been using that for the past 7-8 years (Whenever it first came out.)
I also tried the NR Z-Speed cus i thought it would be like the NS9000X, but I was so wrong lol

As long as you're hitting the sweetspot consistently and haven't changed string and tension setup, then yes. MX series is even more so.

Thoughts on which would be a better replacement for the NS9000X?
    BS-12L or the JS-8ST

    Neither. I'd probably say BS10.

In your opinion, which is stiffer? 8PS or BS12?

It looks like I'll have to change my plans and bring forward my testing of Jetspeed 8's. I'll put them in my bag and begin testing tonight.

At least I now know they can't be as soft as some claim as Natsir won Singapore Open yesterday and we know she has 30lbs tension.

Dull feel was what some of our assessment was, not soft.

I have 2 JS8PS 3U, 1 is CN version and another is KP version. I can say the feeling is totaly different between this 2 version. KP is much more stiff and the balance is higher than CN version. 1.JPG 2.jpg

KP version is more sturdy compare to CN version. So it is require more power and stamina to handle it.

No, what I mean is, is there a difference in the "feel" of shuttle strike? What some of us is experiencing is a numb feel at contact, lacking the crispness of the MX and BS frames.

But I've been gradually increasing my tension, now ZM65 @ 25x27 lbs. Will play tonite to see how it feels this time.
