Why do you care so much what others are thinking about Malaysia?

Is it a fact that Malaysia is still lacking in many areas! (security, education, sports, etc).

That's why we are being labeled by others as a developing nation and not a developed nation.

koo_fan, even if we covered all these shortcomings behind closed door, others will still know. Don't tell me that you honestly think that others will not know if we did not discuss it here!

There are shortcomings in every country. Let's leave it at that.

That's because you live there. It's easier to look at how dirty your curtains are if it's front of you than those at the other side of hill.

And what business do you have checking out the dirty linen in someone else's house?

Everybody face similar problems in one way or another, and if not, it's bound to be something else.

Ask for perfection when there is none to give and you will never be satisfied.

So, its ok to live with dirty curtains? And perhaps console ourselves that our neighbours's curtains may be dirtier?

Certainly nothing wrong in having aspirations or wanting better.

They say if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will leap out right away, BUT if you put a frog in a pot that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant and you gradually heat the pot, the frog will not become aware until it is too late.

    Malaysia Boleh!

No, it's not ok to live with dirty linen. However, all houses have dirty linen, we just don't know how much since we don't get to see them.

I loved your lecture on global warming, Mr Gore. :)
