Looks like curtains for Noz in WD. Thai pair too strong. 21-18, 19-13

And it's over, 21-13. Noz gets to save her energy for WS

if yesterday a lot of MAS lost, today we see a lot of Japan players lost, some Korean and no 1 seed XD from INA.

Yulia most prob meet seed no 2 Marin tomorrow. Ocoy might be able to qualify to SF if she can beat Turkey player and Yuki/Busanan/DEN player on QF. Sindhu has lost, and hopefully she can take the opportunity.

on court, Riyanto vs another Turkey Emre Lalil 1st MS, 2nd in Europe after Viktor. The winner will most likely face Axelsen in 4th round.

not too much info about her. But she lost to Nozomi easily in the recent concluded Japan Junior Championship.

Many Korean got tough draw, they gave trouble to some seeded players, effect of no play in AJC.

As feared, Lukhi/Ririn lost in the first match of the day to the KOR pair....20-22 in the rubber-set :( Once again, tough luck for being drawn against a KOR pair early in the draw. Rusydina also lost in rubber-set to Neslihan Yigit.

The rest of the contingent remains intact and these are the representatives in R16 so far:
    BS
Riyanto Subagja vs Khosit Phetradab - the winner should face Viktor Axelsen in the QF. A 50-50 match.

Sameer Verma [3/4] vs Arif Gifar Ramadhan [9/16] - at least Gifar fulfills his seeding. Yet another 50-50 match and I am hoping for an uspet.

Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo - likely to face Thammasin Sitthikhom

    GS
Cemre Fere [9/16] vs Elyzabeth Purwaningtyas [5/8] - I believe Eliyzabeth can prevail.

Yulia Yosephine Susanto - possibly will face Carolina Marin [2]

    BD
Jim Middelburg/Vincent De Vires vs Lukhi Apri Nugropho/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo - Lukhi/Kevin should beat the NED pair and progress to a QF meeting against Nelson Heg/Teo Ee Yi [3/4].

    GD
Aisyah Binte Latib/Toh Siew Fen vs Anggia Shitta Awanda/Shella Devi Aulia [5/8] - Anggia/Shella should win this and face the second-seed Chow Mei Kuan/Lee Meng Yean in the QF.

    XD
Jim Middleburg/Soraya De Visch Eibergen [3/4] vs Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja - the INA pair can win this match despite the fact that the NED pair is seeded.

Hafiz Faisal/Shella Devi Aulia [9/16] - will possible face a tough match against Nelson Heg Wei Keat/Chow Mei Kuan [3/4].

Ronald Alexander/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah [9/16] vs Joris Grosjean/Lea Palermo [5/8] - again, a winnable match.

Still 5 more matches involving INA players in R32:
Lee So Hee/Shin Seung Chan [3/4] vs Ririn Amelia/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja
Ronald Alexander/Selvanus Geh [3/4] vs Choi Sol Kyu/Park Se Woong
Suci Rizky Andini/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah [1] vs Gauri Ghate/Maneesha K.
Tom Wolfenden vs Shesar Hiren Rhustavito [9/16]
Hafiz Faisal/Alfian Eko Prasetya vs Wannawat Ampunsuwan/Tinn Isriyanate [5/8]

Apart from the 3 matches against KOR pairs and THA pair, INA should take the other 2 matches.

Ririn/Gloria lost the first-set 15-21. Can they rebound and take the second-set?

Sigh...Ririn is second-time unlucky against KOR opponents today, wasted yet another 2 match pts in the GD match and ended up losing the rubber-set 22-24. Not a good day for her.

Ronald/Selvanus also lost the first-set 25-27, despite leading 20-17. INA players are definitely not good in converting match pts.

Suci Rizky Andini/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah won easily as expected. They will face Lam Narissapat/Methanee Pattanapitoon later this evening.
