Lucky me. I got mine in JPN but not Z-Speed. Planning to buy it later this year if no new models available.
Hopefully a new model will come out during the All England. If not, they normally just make a special edition. And my guesses they might make a special addition for the arc FB as it is quite popular and successful among the national players =]
And what do you know, a new version of Z force! Z force II!!! http://www.yonex.com/sports/badminton/products/badminton/racquets/voltric-series/voltric-z-force-2/
I think this is a silly question. Since ArcSaber 11 and Z Speed only have 3U and 2U, do you think both 3U are the same weight after string.
If both racquets are exactly the same weight dry, then after stringing, both may be around 3.5grams heavier. The difference in the headshape or stringing pattern will have a negligible effect on the weight gain.
Man, that's a striking colour scheme. I was expecting ARC-ZSII to come first seeing how difficult it is to come up a name for the 'Z' lineups. It seems that this racquet adopts many features from NR-ZSP (minus the longer shaft & some materials used to construct the shaft/head). Most likely the previously mentioned 'head heavier than the VT-ZF' comes from wider head. Getting it for the looks?; Hell yes.
I am always confused with some of Yonex’s choice of wording. Can anyone tell me how does the “ultra slim long shaft” compared to the “extra slim shaft”? I’m asking this because the NZSP is labeled as having the ultra but the upcoming VZFII is labelled as “extra slim” but it is said to be the thinnest ever. In addition to that, having own the NZSP, I could not find any difference in the length of the shaft compared to my old MusclePower despite the “ultra slim long shaft” thing. Am I missing something?
just played a few hours of casual games with the z speed last week, with zymax67 at 24x26lbs. it's an awesome racket, very flexible and very powerful. since i'm used to using the z slash and a nanoray300, i'm more or less used to a smaller head frame!! i love this racket, and its flashy bright orange color, yay!!!
I tried out Z-Speed today, mostly smashing and clears as well as backhand clears. The racket wasn't as head heavy as I thought, when I was smashing, the racket really cuts through the air really nicely, just like the Z-Slash, I felt the Z-Speed feels much like a Z-Slash which cuts through the air just as well. I didn't feel that the Z-Speed increased the speed of my smash, when I was smashing with my normal racket (Z-Force) it felt pretty much the same

try it and you'll see if you will like it btw just an addendum.. its funny how no one complains about the 2U ns9900... the headweight approx 42.5g, balance point around 305.... if anyone is curious about the specs
