Hi There, I have 2 question on a racquet i recently bought.. Its a Kason TSF 105Ti...@ SGD 120 (down from 139 after i asked for a discount) Got it from the Bras Basah Yonex store (ground floor) My first question is about the serial number... I have come across posts citing that racquets come with a serial number, and so on.. Mine does not have one..just has this "XHO" engraved just above the cone. Secondly, all online stores like bbe sports for instance, show the tension specs for this racquet as below, H 18-20 lbs V 20-22 lbs My Kason shows the following, H 24-26 lbs V 22-24 lbs I tend to believe this store is quite credible, but could it be possible that these specs could vary from region to region? Looking forward to get some info on this here...Thanks for reading.
Did you purchase your Kason racquet from 10&10? Its an authorised Li-ning/Kason dealer and your racquet should be genuine. (I noticed some Li-ning racquets come with 3 letters engraved on the shaft instead of a serial number). Did you receive a warranty card? ps would not recommend to visit this shop if you intend to buy yonex racquets. The YY racquets are TH coded but are priced at SP prices. With regards to the tension indicated on your TSF105, my two cents is your racquet may be from a new batch and the websites have not been updated. If you are still worried, suggest you pay a visit to the Li-ning/Kason boutique at Ion Orchard to verify.
Thanks Sealman, The name of the store is'nt 10&10, its C&T sports trading. The store has LiNing, Kason and apacs apart from few Yonex racquets. They quoted SGD 289 for the Yonex 9900 before any discounts I checks Li Ning racquets at World of sports outlet and they too have this 3 letters engraved on them. I have a reciept and a warrantly card which is pretty much unfilled, but it does'nt indicate the model number etc. The racquet however plays great, so i just have to get this doubt cleared. Thanks again for providing your advise. As advised am gonna head to ION and check out the Kason serials/tensions to verify.
between i got the A300 LiNing bird for 32 bucks, down from 39.90. Good shuttles these are...shuttle speed lasts for more than 1 and half 15 pointer games, with the feathers in fairly good shape.
Confirm my TSF 105 Ti is genuine. Went to the Li Ning store at ION, and checked the specks are the same along with 3 letter serial number. only difference is the price (169SGD) A300 shuttle sells at 59.90, tats almost twice as much as what o paid for.
Not only the racquet, some others accessories also cheap...... specially the Victor & Li-Ning t-shirt, i got some from Saigon, appearance looks nice & exactly same....... who cares where it from...... hahaha
Just came back from Changi Airport T3's Sportslink @ B2 , there is a piece if SP coded 2UG4 NS7K 1st Gen (2005) $279 and SP coded 3UG5 AT700 Blue (2007) $219.
