I wrote about achievements, you want the recent one. I wrote about last tournament, you deny awkwardly, inconsistent. Sigh.. Define your time frame CLEARLY before conclude. Then what each of the pair achieved within. Then you can conclude based on your defined constraints. Btw, within this year JJS/LYD and CY/FHF is really consistent? What is the parameter?
Yeah, even if a pair is in top flight but fail to perform in major tournaments (JJS/LYD, KKK/TBH) What's the point?
Having watched the match today, I would say that Bona/Ahsan have improved a lot (esp Bona). With some luck, they could have won the second-set....some very unlucky shots going against them ("bola tipis"!). They have shown that they have what it takes to compete aganst the top pairs....just need to fine-tune a little bit. Ahsan was also complaining that he did not feel that well during the match...which might explain why they were playing catch-up. But I was really impressed to see them overturning a 6-11 deficit into a 19-17 lead in the second-set. Too bad, the KOR pair won the last 4 pts of the match. In the first-set, they were also trailing as much as 5 pts at 14-19 and could close the gap to just 19-20. Now, I am looking forward to see them winning the India Open GP next week!
As expected Bona/Ahsan won the India GP title. This year they have collected 3 titles : Vietnam GP,INA GPG,India GP. Hopefully next year they will add SS titles in their bag.
congrats to bona/ahsan...another gp title will definitely raise their confidence...but i dont see them a SS winning pair though...maybe in time they will be
NO...they finished as Runners-Up in the Japan SS 2008, losing to Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen in 3-sets.
ya, they have never reached any SS finals after the japan 2008...only semi finals of this year's japan open...
Bona Septano/Mohammad Ahsan show that they are quite a reliabale pair now. They enter World Championship 2011 Semifinal! Last two months they also enter to INA SSP 2011 semifinal. Quite happy with their result in this WC 2011. It seems they are already "mature" now and more consistant. Honestly, at some point I had lost confident on them and think that they would never be at the Top rank MS just like happened to Hendra AG and Joko Riyadi. But I gladly to say that I'm wrong. BoSan really has something promising in the Olympic next year
eventhough they lost their match yesterday, i must say that they are improving so much, just need to make their defence more solid.
Althought they are failed at SF WBC 2011 still proud of them. Especially Mohd. Ahsan with different pair but could beaten Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen twice. First at Sudirman Cup 2011 ago and now QF WBC 2011.. Next time, good luck to you both
Bona Septano/Mohammad Ahsan enter Japan SS 2011 FINAL after beating Kido/Hendra! They are showing good results lately. They proved that they are ready to become the successor of Kido/Hendra! Good luck in final tomorrow!
