Hi CCC CATS trainees, At our coaching session on Sunday 08-Apr-2012, we welcomed 1 new trainee; * Inn Kian-O (From Western Australia) Hope that he had enjoyed training with us. At this CCC CATS, we worked on Mixed Doubles – (Players' Positions). Some comments: * Timothy-T, Bijesh-K, Brendan-L, Gerardo-M, Theo-D and Shaoqi-C did well. They have done the Level Doubles – (Players' Positions) lesson, and understood how alert we need to be playing at the front-court. * Lisa-L and Inn Kian-O need to have more practice. A main comment: The front-court player has very little time to meet the shuttlecock. Therefore, the front-court player has to be more alert. Hi Chris, Have enjoyed the training session, it was the first time I was trained to play double, and it was quite a challenge to think mixed doubles and level doubles. I was only trained in Single play in the last year. Will see you all soon. Thanks for the training, will bring the skills back to perth for more refinement.

Some comments: * Timothy-T, Brendan-L, Bijesh-K, Theo-D and Lisa-L -C have all trained well. * Not only we need to know how to perform the strokes, but we also need to know how far from the net when we are performing those strokes (to execute an excellent shot). Here, we are talking about our Power/Touch and our Shining/Grip. * Executing the Net-play, the control of the 'MAXIMA' on our side is more important than the height of the 'MAXIMA'. * Executing the Lift/Service, Brendan-L and Theo-D must stop rotating their wrists at the point of impact.
