Hi, I'm planning to get a new pair of shoes, and the following are the few shoes i've targeted:

    1: Asics Gel Blast 4 (RM320)
    2: Li Ning AYAE001 (RM300)
    3: Li Ning AYAD003 (RM250)
    4: Yonex SHB 100MX (RM200)

These are the choices because they are the few that i was able to find in the shops around my place, and they all have promotions now so i can get them on the cheap.

Although the SHB100MX is quite an old shoe but i see it has really high rating from Dink's shoe reviews, so my heart is tilted more towards it. It being the cheapest is also one of the factor.

The 2 Li Nings are suppose to be their high end model costing RM500-600 original price, now they have 50% off so are quite tempting. Whether thy're good or not is unknown because i can't seem to find any good reviews for it. Any present or past users of these shoes here care to advice?

The Asics is a new shoe and i've always liked Asics running shoes, never bought any of their court shoes tho.

    Advices please? :)

i wore Yonex SHB 100LTD for almost two years. It was the best badminton shoes ever made IMHO. Light, soft, comfortable and excellent grip.

I think SHB 100MX should not be too far off.

if ure going for asics... the gel blade3 or the gel cyberspeed would be better choices. the blast is a bit heavy.

Thanks for the suggestion... I've tried both Li Nings and also the 100MX, felt that the build quality of the 100MX is not up to the standards of the Li Nings, but it has a better fit, more snug, feels like molded to my feet after wearing it, so i like how it feels even though don't think it will last long...

Haven't tried the asics tho, will go check out blade3 soon

The yonex is the lightest, followed by AYAD003 then the AYAE001.
