TTY will have to run miles to overcome LXR, but entirely doable. I like 'em both but in order to have a legit final, TTY has to qualify, so I guess I will cheer for her (but in the final I have to support WYH)

Agree, that should be more interesting one, WD match is usually boring :D

As predicted, only INA XD Towi/Liliyana who survived until semifinal, hopefully they can step up into finale :)

And do you think Chong Wei will be a dumb ass letting Lin Dan to grab it up? Hey don't forget that Chong Wei is pump up to get an All England hat trick. Apart from that, I wonder what will be Lin Dan's fan excuses if Lin Dan loose to Chong Wei again this time. ;)

agree. It's unfair not to show even one WS match on tv court. :(

I respect both Lee Chong wei and Lin Dan very much. I don't see any chance Lee Hyun Il and Tago can stop them to get into final. I hope they can show their best for the best match ever. But, I do believe the best Lin Dan still can beat the best Lee Chong wei pretty confidently. Their head to head is the best example. He beat Lee chong wei four times consecutviely before Lee Chong Wei took Korean open title from him early this year. Also, Lee Chong Wei never beat Lin Dan consecutively. I think the lost of Korean open title can motivate Lin Dan to do well in this coming final.

I am in the same opinion as you that LHI and Tago are not likely to be able to stop both LD and LCW to proceed to the final. And I do think that LD has a slight edge in the final LCW and his chance of winning is higher.

However, I do not think that LD can bear the best form LCW confidently is a true representation of the gap between both of them. In my personal opinion both of them are in deed very close and LD has a slight advantage. Hence a normal form LD will not be able to beat a best form LCW confidently.

Enough said. All players need to be at their best to win it. We are at present. Not past or future. Wake up. Go do some badminton drills dude. ;) lol

I'm predicting an LXR-WSX Final though I think LXR is looking jaded so TTY has her best chance now of upsetting her, and WSX seems to have gotten back her form, moving well and effortlessly coupled with her uncanny ability to make her opponents twist and turn trying to cover all four corners of the court (if only WSX has acquired a killer smash as well, the only weapon lacking in her arsenal, she would be world No. 1 again).

Didn't quite expect Chen Long's defeat at Tago's hand but with CL showing signs of slowing down as evidenced by his recent losses to LCW(not an apt example) and NTM, the way he started this tourney is further indication that all is not well with him. Hope Chen Long can peak just in time for the London OG.

Lin Dan has already won everything in badminton to be the greatest ever, so to me whether he wins another OG Gold is not essential - I'd prefer Lee CW or Chen Long to win Gold in that order, too much of a good thing for any one person may not be such a desirable outcome aside from being unfair.

I totally disagree. It is not the real thing if Lin Dan cannot appear in the olympics this year. If Lin Dan wanted to proof why he is good, he should win the olympics when olympics is not held in China. It will be interesting to watch both Lin Dan and his nemesis Chong Wei to appear in the olympics final this year. Chen Long is still to young and lacking of experience when it comes to big tournament. But he surely can give great fight. But I doubt he can beat both Lin Dan and Chong Wei including Tago :p to reach the olympics final.
