The contrast between the About this Video section and the willingness to help ship the game in the comments is rather funny.

hi all, been playing with it for couple of hours. The best 2 sports I found were Badminton and Volleyball. The rest aren't so good. In Badminton, depending on the type of game preferred (Power, Speed, All Round etc), there are a number of teams that one can choose. There is a Practice mode available to familiarise with the 3 most important techniques in badminton, namely Serve, Clear/Drop and Smash. During gameplay, one can choose to have to have 1 or 3 sets of 5, 11, and 21 points (all based on rally point system). Firstly, depending on the orientation you hold the Wiimote to begin your serving action, you can choose to serve low or high. Secondly, the direction of the shots can be controlled by swinging the Wiimote to either the left or right direction (difficult) and Clear/Drop are controlled by the vertical movements of your wrist. It is very easy to accidentally lifting from the net when one tries to do a net return or Clearing instead of Dropping because it is so sensitive. The jump smashing action is triggered by swinging the Wiimote down as the shuttle turns red in the air (short period of time), there is no need to swing it hard at all to do this, it is one of the easiest move to do. On the other hand, retrieving a smash or driving were difficult, especially when your opponent hits the shuttle to the body. If one misses the "red shuttle" time, the character will perform a slice, which is often quite effective to use against com opponents in the easy and average difficulty. Thats it for now. Will post more reviews as I play more.
Thank you, manabu. That is an excellent review. Good to hear badminton is one of the two sports you like
Wohoo, the game works on my PAL/European Wii with a wiinja modchip. I haven't even tried the other sports yet, gotta learn to master the badminton first. Trying to swing the wiimote as in real badminton didn't work so well, so I have to try again with manabu's tips
puktus: I was told that there is a 3xxmb .iso of the game sharing around the internet that has all menu and descriptions in english. Apprently it is a japanese version with modded language settings. For those of you who owns a mod chip of some kind for the Wii and can not wait until June, this might be a good alternative. I'm a supporter of illegal copies though.
Downloaded a copy of that. Will try it as soon as I have some time to try it out. Hope it's the one you're talking about so I wouldn't be too lost.
they need to create a version where you can use ur favourite characters and stuff like lee chong wei on career mode to win beijing 08!! hehe
