here is my Alpha Shuttle Express, added WISE tension head and an Eagnas stand.

the whole machine. trashcan next to it is essential for stringing!

You actually made me want to get an Eagnas floor stand for my Gamma (because Gammas don't have tool trays and don't look as neat for some reason...). However the shipping is like 50% of the price... and then I have to pay the guy like a million bucks for looking at my box cross the border -_-

it comes in a huge box too.

while it looks good in the photo, the actual quality is just so-so, typical Eagnas quality. crude sand casting for the legs and other components.

Yeah, I don't doubt it. I do need to find a good one soon though because I'll be opening a store and a stringing machine on a folding table doesn't look as professional :p

Mine is similar to kwun's, but based on the pro's pro shuttle express. I'm going to add a stand when i figure out how i'm going to make it...

    w4.jpg

Side supports are a bit different though, and they have been raised up to allow 360 degree rotation.

    re: stand.

your Gamma already have a tool tray!

and that tray makes so much more sense. the one on the Eagnas is too low. my old back cannot bend that much anymore! ;)

the string also wraps around the tray every so often. the Gamma 6004 one is also similar in setup. i am actually considering not installing it.

btw, can you measure the size of your tool tray for me? do you find it sufficient in size?

The reason I wanted a tool tray is because I find mine to be too small :p I think with a little more organization and less throwing everything away at random places while stringing I could do with it, but a little more space and a place to put my reels would be very nice :p. I am considering buying a standard gamma floor stand and just making the reel and tool tray addons myself.

The space for tools in the front (where my awl, mover, cutter and pliers are) is 12 inches by 4 and the one in the back where I put my clamps is 8 inches by 7.
