    One of the players I coach has just asked for another BS10. I know they are still available but have no idea whether he will get the same version as his old ones. It's worth a chance because it's a BS10.

    You mustn't be particularly sensitive, because the BS10 feels absolutely nothing like an AT900T.

    Still, it's one of the greats so how can you go wrong?

    My favs are likes ns9900, ns9000s and at900p. Hate arcs series especially arcs7 and 10.

    Thought this piece is a good victor entry but no. i dun like it after my first session. Tension 28lbs with vs 850. could it be the string? i dun like thick gauge normally.

    28lbs is kinda high tension, will feel the crisp sound but i doubt you could feel your smash since the shuttle would bounce off almost immediately after contact :rolleyes: ... the max i go was 26lbs

    VS 850 is hard feeling if i aint mistaken, you wont feel much repulsion too

    got another session with it. think the tension dropped. now it feel real good. effortless for smashing. good defense but not as good as ns9900 for me. it dun feel as stiff too. real quick racket. the only drawback is the frame felt unstable.

    Umm... so the bravesword that says "sword" on it is 2nd gen? Also, whats the difference between the 1st gen and 2nd?

    The one that says "sword" is the 2nd gen. From what I know there is no difference between the 1st and 2nd. I believe there is a difference in stiffness based on the codes l;

    Yes, 2nd gen BS10 in TW is 4/5 stiff. Everywhere else it's 5/5.

    From what I've heard, some distributors are saying that it is out of stock but majority of them are saying that production for that racket has stopped! I hope someone here can shed some light and clear this up!

    I agree, the best BS racket :D

    IME the BS9 is a defender's racket, not an all-rounder like the 10. The 12 is the very definition of "middle of the road". Haven't seen the 15 yet, but the specs suggest it's similar to the 10 mk1.

    I've just tested two 3U BS10 from one store, interestingly one of them felt pretty heavy (almost like a 2U), and the other one felt a lot lighter. I got the lighter one : )
