Ditto...also would the high cushion affect the weight of the shoe overall?

Shipment FINALLY came in and took off the original insoles and slipped in my custom orthotics. Intial reaction was surprising since it's higher than my mx 101 but on the court it felt great. A bit of pain but this was the initial burning in of the shoe. Just had a tournament with these, and in all honesty couldn't be happier :)If anyone suffers from flat feet/low arch, i highly recommend these.

    bro,
more cushion n higher heel not mean good bcoz this is not NBA games
baddy is a fast and impluse of movement to left n right..this may easily limit ur movement n causes injury...
for fast looks for short heel and light series...

In terms of having flat foot, SC5 is the right shoe as there is no lateral claw than the 102LTD..

    bro,
here my simple guide if u looking for yonex shoes...from my exp there were 3 categories within in them

    1)for stability= go for shb 102
    2)for light = weight go for shb92 or 85
    3)for cuhsioning = shb sc5 or 3

if u want 3 in 1 feature, then u may want to DIY yourself..:))

Mathias Boe [DEN] seems to be the only one wearing SHB-SC5EX.

    Yuri,

I have normal arch feet. Can i wear SC5? When i wear SC3 I feel the heel insole pushing my arch muscle which is quite uncomfortable. Guess SC5 is not for common users which is why many SC5 still left on shoe display & many shops dont carry them. SC3 sell better due to lower price point.
SHB102ltd also left many on shoe display due to high price point. Customer rather choose the SHB102MX blue/pearl white - about the same quality, both cheaper & better look than the SHB102LX & SHB102LTD.

    Aramis,

Sayako Sato is another player wearing SC5. So far non of the pro players wearing SC3

Yeah try both, but the SC5 build and design I personally think superior than the F1. It does look luxury for a shoe.

    De cushion is definitely good.
As i m still recovering frm my ankle sprain months back, haf tried different shoes frm adidas to apacs to nike, even lining hero was on my mind till dat fateful sunrise sales.

Tried de shoes, push my luck a little wif some jumps here n there..surprise surprise! i din feel dat much pain on my ankle as compared to de apacs, nike which i haf...

So defintitely a good buy n really worth it in terms of protecting ur ankles/feet/knees...Cheers
