The Ultra should be able to, not sure if the Trinity can, never tried. The highest Panda's gone on the Ultra is 37lbs. ECP and were no problems, it was still "strong". So, Panda thinks 40lbs. ECP should be doable.

Panda has not tried anything higher than 32lbs. ECP on the Trinity which held up fine. The frame on the Trinity, by design, is thinner so it's not as strong as the Ultra. Panda estimates 34-35lbs. should be the max doable/playable tension on the Trinity.

When Panda says "doable", Panda means, the racket can be strung at said tension and playable without the racket compromising its structural integrity, relative speaking.

With the exception of a few of strings, at 32lbs. ECP or higher, there nothing really durable. At that tension, Panda worries more about the string than the racket.

I think that may be on Panda's list of next thing to do.
    Design and make a durable 40lbs string.....:D
    Panda 70Ti.

Don't forget to send couple of the new rackets to Viper.
    Thanks.

Did you ask for metal T joint or polymer ones like Yonex?

Only a few strings can take ultra high tension. BG-65 rules :-D.

Until then, the regular Ultra and Trinity will have to do. These are the finalized versions. More as I know it... :D

The Ultra is a 3-piece, integrated, tapered shaft. It's 9mm tapering to 7.5mm

    The Trinity is a 1-piece shaft. It's about 7mm.

Dinks always their to get them. The highly anticipated new ashaway strings.

How do they compare with other yonex strings?

    Roughly (not final)...

    MSRP:
    Trinity: $140.00
    Ultra: $170.00

    Internet Price:
    Trinity: $125.00
    Ultra: $145.00

    Potential BC Price:
    Trinity: $110.00
    Ultra: $130.00

I'll have to talk to Kwun about the BC price, if it's even allowed. :p

You'll have to wait a few weeks until I fully test the strings.

Initially, ZM67 reminds me of BG66. ZM70 reminds me a something in between NBG95 and NBG98. It's thinner than NBG95 a bit thinner and more responsive than NBG95 but not quite as powerful nor crisp as NBG98 (but then again, not much if, if any, especially given the durability, relatively speaking).

How do the strings hold tension? Do they stretch a lot?
