Cute maybe but I think WSX does not have the grace of a Wang Lin. WL has added speed and power ON TOP of her grace on the court
playing like robots and have glue on their shoes??? oh my god! but its true, otb, they really are not graceful at all... maybe because of the training they have been turned from female to male? in those days when we see susi or li ling wei they play differently though they may not be that fast but they reach every corner and can use full stretch, if you know what i mean - the 180 (there is no degree key here)
Personally for me, it's Susi Susanti in WS & Taufik Hidayat in MS (In case if u feel the need to start another thread for most graceful play in MS)
yes, huang hua also taufik can't be graceful, it just sound ....you know what should be entertaining, even if he lost, watching him play back hand is good enough
Not sure. Susi Susanti has much better results, but technical aspects Ye Zhaoying is better in my opinion.
Hmm... WS only?? -Susi Susanti -Gong Zhicao -Li Lingwei And more or less in that order. There was this touch of 'class' in their play, this certain flair and fluidness in the court and racket craft. Gracefulness in exertion. Very pleasant to watch no matter the result. The others who come close would probably be: -Bang Soo Hyun -Huang Hua -Ye Zhaoying -Tang Jiuhong. Not necessarily the 'flowers' of the courts, all the players I listed, but they all personify what I perceive as in 'grace and beauty in play' .... the way they play the game. Not they way they look. Current players who may fit the bill? Honestly, I haven't been keeping track of too many of them but a few are fairly pleasant to watch in their games. -Wang Shixian -Pi HongYan -Wang Lin I have omitted some notable names in history such as Han Aiping, Camilla Martin for example. Not that they were not good by a long stretch, they were very 'effective' players in their own right. Not the most enjoyable in watching a game, but nonetheless very, very good players. -
