LCW who once held no1 ranking for quite some time is here but he is not worthy because he is none of the 4 criteria above.

Taufik who once Olympic gold medalist is here too but again he is none of the 4 criteria above.

Not to mention other Olympic medalists, some current and past are here but they are not Olympic champions.

    :)

As some are wont to say (tongue-in-cheek) Datuk Lee will win this tournament lying down.:p And they are not far wrong.

As before, Inthanon is playing without a break. After the Olympics it's the CBSL (which continues until early Dec), then CHN Masters now here. How not to be jaded? Anyhow, she is one of my faves to win here together with Tai TY, Sung JY, Porntip, Busanan and Sindhu, not necessarily in that order.

Suddenly CWF wakes up to take G2, or is it Tago's turn to doze off? Now for the rubber and both are awake.

In the rubber, CWF was trailing 5-8, next time I look at livescore, CWF leading 11-9, now 14-11. This is Tago's home ground, he wouldnt want to disappoint the home fans
