Well, limsy, your comments and observations have always been excellent because you back them up with generally well thought out reasons.I enjoy them. There's no need to apologise for your opinions.
I gather you have high expectations of an AJC GS champion's skills so you're rather disappointed cxj is not as gifted as you would have liked. But winning is not just about skills. It's about strategy and stamina as well. Strategy can be about winning through the opponent's mistakes. Some players may have better skills but they may also be error-prone. In which case, the effective strategy would be to target the opponents' 'weakness' in giving cheap points.
If CHN coaches are smarter in all-round thinking and their players can execute accordingly, well, they deserve the credit.
Clearly, one weapon CHN used here is vocal aggression like shouting. Actually, instead of being intimidated, the non-CHN opponents should feel flattered and know that the CHN coach is indirectly saying the non-CHN opponent is better than their CHN player and thus use that compliment to play with more confidence.
CHN players only use non-badminton tactics on their better opponents, never on opponents they consider inferior to them.
Anyway, the AJC is the early stage like primary school exams. It's too early to tell how well they will turn out in future. In the long run, the more gifted ones will do better provided they have both the mental and physical stamina to propel them forward.
Thank you so much for your comprehensive analysis, especially of the players.

Haish Limsy no need merajuk one... do keep posting your thoughts and I do agree with you all the way on this particular CHN player... I was not intimated by her screaming, but actually irritated and annoyed cos it filled the whole stadium and my ears as well...till i felt like filling her mouth with some sound proof stuff....kekeke....
and yes pjswift is right too... maybe it's the plan, to scream your lungs out and intimidated your opponent... but from what I can see, she screamed regardless of her opponents inferior or superior... looking at the trend in CHN national team, I presume she won't go far... height issue has been why some of the athletes left the team, and this girl is basically shorter than any CHN players I've ever seen...*shrugged* just my opinion... and limsy, she sure looked like dying each match...:D

Really don't understand why the malaysian contingent at that part of the crowd jeer-ed at him. Very unsporting behaviour of them.

I havent seen the extreme ones... though e-time we play against CHN, mmg that's the scenario la... haish... biasa la... ;) still, when INA juniors played against CHN we support INA ... regardless of what happened at istora last month...:)

    ^^It's working..i can see 'em..testing, testing..^^

..but what did you do with the re-sizing??..did you resize them proportionately??..some of the pics look stretched vertically/horizontally??..:p

Use Microsoft Paint (default program in Microsoft OS, if you use it on your computer). Then Image->Stretch/skew, use same number for both horizontal & vertical..

This time, he found a good one in Angga Pratama (whose regular partner was Kevin Alexander). Remember, Rendy also partnered Ryan Agung Saputra in last year's WJC and pushed the eventual champion Mak Hee Chun/Teo Kok Siang to the limit, losing in rubber-sets 21-19, 13-21, 14-21.

According to Bambang Supriyanto (Pratama MD Coach), Rendy/Angga will not be permanent pair. They will be paired again on WJC, but Bambang preferred Angga/Ryan for long term, and will looking for another boy to play with Rendy. If his decision is right, INA will have two promising MD, but if he's wrong...:(
