Then of course sw35 would be more powerful.

But this question always come up. Of course the higher swing wt heavier racket will be more powerful, just like a broad sword is more powerful than a fencing sword. But the reality is how well can YOU wield it. In the end, it is YOU who has to move the racket/sword; by itself, it has no power, no energy. Whether you can handle a more powerful racket is completely up to your own strength and power.

For me, MX70 should give you more power. I already own BS09, BS11, BS12, MX80 and MX70, and I like most MX70 if I want to do more smashing. MX80 is still great in control and netting though.

Agree. I have both mx80 and mx70, mx80 has incredible feel and accuracy, but mx70 has more power. Argh, if only there is one racket that has both!

Visor, I am not sure whether we have two-in-one racket so far. Have you tried Gosen Ryoga Issen?

sw35 would have more power than MX80 while having similar control

Agree. But SW35 is quite slow in defensive unless you got strong muscle, like JJS.
