Yup, KOR squad has an amazing stamina! Their MD pairs even had created All-Korean-Final in two consecutive weeks...It's hard task to reach good result in back-to-back tournament currently but they did it!

Funny, he needs the OG points badly. What's the official reason, you know or not?

This one wisely to save money that BAM still owes LCW and KKK/TBH.

Well, I believe KKK/TBH won 2 SS back-to-back last year so let's see if KOR can win 3rd in a row.It would be a scary conquest.

    DOES IT MATTER? Mr.YOYO

Injured Hafiz pulls out of Swiss Open

PETALING JAYA: An injured Mohd Hafiz Hashim has withdrawn from the Swiss Open.

The 26-year-old Hafiz, who was to face top seed Lin Dan of China in the first round today, had been advised against competing due to pain on his Achilles tendon.

The world No. 24, whose hope to feature in his first Olympic Games in Beijing is as good as over, will return home today.
Canadian's Andrew Dabeka has been promoted from the qualifying tournament to replace Hafiz in the main draw.

Funny to see Xie Zhongbo and Lin Dan participating here even if they officially were injured during AE. If they really were that injured, would China then risk to make it worser by letting them play here. I dont think so, it would be to risky since the olympics are not far ahead. I wouldnt be suprised to see LD destroying every opponent he meets during Swiss Open and in the long run this just shows how match fixing is one of China's weapons in getting the best outcome. It ruins the sport and it has nothing to do with sportmanship.

Absolutely agree. As swiss open is the last tourney to collect OG08 points, there's mathematically impossible (pls correct if i'm wrong) for LCW to overtake LD as world No.1. We all knew why CJ won AE08

LD's participation is merely to block other non-CHN players so that it will make sure CJ remain top 4 and therefore qualified for OG08. I aint Einstein, nor Antoni Gaudi
