    Despite MAS winning the MD battle 3-2, INA can take heart that Ulin/Ricky and Berry/Rahmat had given their more fancied opponents a very good fight, as well as Markus/Agri actually upsetting Mak/Teo. Rendy/Afiat did not disappoint either.

    The only surprise upset was the victory of Markus/Agri. Once again, they prove that they are the most consistent among the 4 pairs.

    Looks like path is clear for 1 MAS MD at the bottom to make the final. Most probably either GVS/LKW or HTH/TWK, where they will take on each other tomorrow.

    Thanks to BCers for posting the scores. Now, I have returned home after a session of Badminton.

    My PAW Game isn't doing well. :crying::crying::crying:

    Submitted 6 entries, but scored only 2 correct, from the WS section;
    * Mayu Sekiya (JPN)
    * Nozomi Okuhara (JPN)

    2012 Malaysia Open GP Gold: Day 2 (Thursday 03-May-2012) should be interesting

    .
    Day 2 (Thursday 03-May-2012) should be interesting.

    I believe that these 6 Singles matches could be the interesting ones to follow;

    * Chong Wei Feng [8]-vs-Kento Momota
    * Ashton Chen Y.Z.-vs-Zulfadli.Zulkiffli
    * Kana Ito-vs-Michelle Chan K.Y.
    * Chan Tsz Ka [3]-vs-Bellaetrix Manuputti
    * Busanan Ongbumrungpan-vs-Mayu Sekiya
    * Nozomi Okuhara-vs-Tee Jing Yi

    Somehow I believe that all of them will be 3-games matches, lasting around 60 minutes. :):):)

    MS R32 - 2 rounds of MS will be played tomorrow. R32 in the morning and R16 at night.
    Evert Sukamta vs Sai Praneeth B. - I don't think Evert can beat the Indian.

    Goh Soon Huat vs Shesar Hiren Rhustavito - hopefully, Vito can shine again tomorrow.

    Tommy Sugiarto [3] vs Park Sung Min - a tricky tie for Tommy, but, as the third-seed, he's expected to face LCW in the SF.

    Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Huang Chao - Sony to progress.

    WS R16
    Chan Tsz Ka
    [3] vs Bellaetrix Manuputty - it was a good result for Bella today. Can she beat the third-seed?

    Ngan Yi Cheung vs Aprilia Yuswandari [4] - April should take this one.

    MD R16
    Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan
    [7] vs Kim Dae Eun/Lee Sang Joon - another tricky tie awaits Rendy/Afiat...can they reach QF?

    Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra [6] vs Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif/Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari - on paper, the MAS pair is way more experienced. But I would like to see another upset.

    WD R16
    Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari
    [1] vs Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah - the SIN pair has the edge.

    Jenna Gozali/Komala Dewi vs Goh Liu Ying/Lim Yin Loo - a tough call, but, the MAS pair has Goh Liu Ying, who's relatively experienced by now.

    Chan Hung Yung/Chau Hoi Wah vs Rizky Amelia Pradipta/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth - Rizky/Pia can go far.

    Yuki Fukushima/Yuriko Miki vs Suci Rizky Andini/Della Destiara Haris [4] - despite being seeded, I fear Suci/Della might just lose this one.

    XD R16
    Wong Wai Hong/Chau Hoi Wah [3] vs Riky Widianto/Richi Dili Puspita - I am also hoping for an upset for Riky/Richi.

    Mohd Razif Abdul Latif/Amelia Alicia Anscelly vs Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja - ditto for Alfian/Gloria.

    Irfan Fadhilah/Weni Anggraini vs Tan Aik Quan/Lai Pei Jing [4] - the seeded MAS pair to take this one.

    Ashton is actually pretty decent. I am happy that Zul took him to three games. But yeah, he probably lost out on speed.
