When everyone else is optimistic, the realistic one sounds pessimistic... :D:D

    ^^Well..^^

..if i'm considered a "sober one" or a "sober optimist" sound like a "pessimist", then how do you define someone who is a real, true blue "pessimist"??..a cynic?? a defeatist?? a killjoy?? a party pooper?? a prophet of doom?? a sourpuss?? or a wet blanket??..

IMHO, Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka should feature in at least GP Level & GP Gold Level tourneys, with a couple of nearby SS events next year. He needs to improve his ranking to at least top 25 first before he can compete in the main draw of the SS event. That's the most important first-target. What's the use of registering him for the SS events only for him to lose in the first round ???

According to an interview with him, for the remaining of this year, he will participate in:
    Yonex-Sunrise Vietnam Open GP 2009
and Yonex Open Hong-Kong Super Series 2009 -- not sure if he can qualify for main draw. If he can, it will be a good experience for him.

So upcoming target for Hayom, winning Vietnam GP and the main threat for him of course is local fave and defending champion, Nguyen Tien Minh. Good luck Hayom!

I don't think Hayom can defeat Nguyen at this time... Especially if Nguyen played the way he did in Taipei... :p Oh, if any of you want to see Hayom vs. Taufik in Taipei Open 2009, just search for it in youtube... there is a 5 part series on that close rubber set match...

The first part seems missing though.

So far only games 2 and 3. Parts 2,3 are game 2, parts 4,5 are game 3.

Hayom rumbaka or andre kurniawan should be able to really beat the little brother, simon santoso first,to enter the podium of indo MS.As i watched, hayom rumbaka got the skill, but we don't know whether he can make a full use of it or not..

Hayom Rumbaka will have a good chance to break into top 20 next year.
When I first post this thread, he is in 76th WR. Now, he stands in 38 WR. He goes up 36 rank just in about 4 months.

Now, he also has 3 international titles already. Let us see, what he can do in Syed Modi India Open Grand Prix this December
