Ctjcad, Bubbles, Daylightkiller, and Kwun what setting did you guys use for these pics. They look great, but some look a little washed out. Can you guys list your equipment you used? It looks like everyone got a go at the 200 f/1.8 and 85 f/1.2. I hope you all had fun. This looked like it was a great event to attend.

the differences in color and saturation mostly due to the different processing flow. i have found that the pics i get from my nikon and canon have the same "look". the only common part between them is how i process them.

having said that, typical setting for me was ISO3200, 1/500, f/1.8.

..for the settings, which i think are pretty common, as mentioned in a couple of earlier posts:
    - Average ISO is 3200. Although there are a few pics with ISO 1600. Different parts of the hall have different lighting brightness (e.g. on the stands, the higher one goes, the less lights available; and even then, some parts of the stands have a bit brighter lighting than in other parts; same as on the floor, depends on where you are as some parts of the hall have a bit beter lighting than other parts). I believe kwun also pumped up the ISO to 6400 (using his camera of course) in a couple instances. So, it all depends.
    - Shutter speeds range from 1/500 up to 1/2000 or 1/2500..
    - The washout look, as mentioned by kwun, it comes down to the post-processing..
    - Equipments used, please see a few posts above and on the 2nd page.
    - Besides the 200/1.8 and 85/1.2 for the Canon, we haven't seen the pics taken with the D200 which also used the 85mm/1.4 and 200mm/2.0

..i forgot to mention, since we also used the D200, i believe the ISO and shutter speed went down to ISO 800 and below 1/500;..will need Daylightkiller's confirmation on that..so, again, it also depends on the type of camera body being used (i know there was another photographer who was using a 5DMk2 and the ISO was really pumped up to 6400)..

Thank you very much for the photos coverage of the 2011 usa open! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO! I took 1 hour to view all the pictures posted in this thread from the 1st page onwards. WE could see the many types of expression from the players when executing a shot. Brilliant indeed!

kwun, very impressive BC T-shirt you have compared to the all-white won by our friend on your left. ;)

Of course more impressive is the big, big gun you are carrying with both your hands! :D

And many thanks to members of your crew for bringing us the US Open in the most visible form. I'm sure next year will be better, maybe with more accompanying write-ups. :p

Sorry for the wait everyone, here is some pics from day 1, subsequent days will be coming too and should come quicker than day 1 pics :p. They still seem a little underexposed compared to kwuns pics even after bumping in up a little  But i think the other days are a little bit better as I slowed down the shutter speed a little. I believe these were taken with 1/640 and 1/800 iso with a 85mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.4 at 1600 iso.
