Just a quick question - are Victor rackets fixed price in Singapore? Or certain shops are bargain-able, esp the bigger ones like sole distributor? Looking to grab Victor rackets and bag there soon to join this league :D

Only played with it for an hour yesterday, before my knee started hurting and I had to call it a night. :(

    My initial impression:
It felt like the BS09 lacked a little power when doing baseline og baseline clears compared to my AT600.
But what it lacked in power it more than made up for in speed and maneuverability. I don't think I've ever had a racket that moved better through the air. Defense and drives felt really good and easy.

Can't wait to get some more playing time in with this racket so I can make a better evaluation of my first Victor. :)

The Braveswords are great. Really looking forward to the LYD model to be honest....especially if it gets some real carbon fiber and some head-heaviness. I think the BS platform still has a lot of life left in it and Victor should bring some Spira and Woven technology to it to take it up to the next level.

    You mean woven fiber? :p
But I agree. The BS are great, although I think the LYD model will be the final one - the Meteor series really seems like the 'new and improved' BS series ;) Similar profile, woven carbon - I don't miss the Spira, so they don't need to include that for me :D

Ladies and gents, happy to let you know that BS15 is on it's way. Yes it's BS15 not 14 or 13 as Victor wi skip these numbers (for Feng sui reason maybe). I just saw it's picture lastnite, the colour is red and black. I'm sorry at this moment can't share it yet.

There will be also a special edition of MX70 for the London Olympic 2012. Victor will produce only 5000 units of this in box style MX70.

That'd be the mx70! Which I'm playing with now along with the mx80 in comparison.

    No, the MX70 is -

    STIFF oøooo FLEX
    HEAVY ooøoo LIGHT

    Isn't it?

Geez, I shouldn't have posted that because Victor's idea of head heavy isn't what people brought up on Yonex think of as head heavy.

I guess I just want an MX80 with a 305 BP.......but I've said that already about 5 times now

Nope, you got the mx70 specs right the first time. It's 4/5 stiff and 4/5 head heavy, whereas mx80 is 5/5 stiff and 4/5 head heavy. ....... Re bp, you shouldn't put too much emphasis on bp; it's the head mass that is more important. What you'd probably want is a 3U one that a few grams is heavier in total than your current one. Half of that mass gain is in the frame and the other half is in the handle. But it's the increase in frame mass that will be much more noticeable in allowing you to hit more powerful shots. Of course, it'll be slightly slower than a lighter one but that is the compromise you have to accept. You'll come to understand that both the lighter and heavier rackets will have the same bp, but the heavier one will hit harder and more powerfully.

Then don't use the Victor system to show how head-heavy you want it ;) or go
    HEAVY øoooo LIGHT.

Anyhow, I think the Bravesword LYD could maybe live up to your expectations....at least someone said it would be
    STIFF oøooo FLEX
    HEAVY oøooo LIGHT

I have now tried pretty much all the Victor rackets apart from the legend and have now settled for my favourite three - MX70 - BS12 and Artery Tec Control. (as you can tell I prefer a more mid flex)I cannot emphasise enough how good Victor rackets are in my opinion the MX70 is the best of the lot (for the specs I like of course)Cannot wait to see the London edition.

It's pretty average. There are pictures of it somewhere. Looks like my 3 year old niece did the logos.

The BSLYD on the other hand..............sweeeeet.
