Looking forward to your review! Previous i'm a mx80 owner. and sold off that beauty cos wanted to try others. Now i'm regret of brought the apacs tweet 8000 its feel like a dead wood when defend and even its head heavy also dont feel any powerful than mx80 Now the new VT ZF so far i hear from all the forum member review are so good and so attractive to me Can't decide which to buy when i got my salary.
That's what they said when Z-Slash and VT80 first came out, only a week or two later plenty of it was classified in Buy & Sell hehehe. It is a nature for people to be attracted to new things, including me. Hopefully I'll manage to give head to head comparison between these two beauties. But one man's meat is another man's poison, to each and own preferences some might like the swiftness and accuracy of MX80 while one might appreciate the raw power of VT-ZF.
Yup.. i'm looking for a 2hand VT ZF to try..but still wanted to hear some review about VT ZF's speed and defense.
Hmm this thread has been dead for awhile Sadly I can't try out my MX80 until a week later. Do any of you find super stiff shaft like the mx80 smash slower because it barely has any repulsion power compared to flexible shafts?
With the MX80 i never go wrong in any department in double game so far. Smash is depend on the user how to swing the racket. I got apacs tweet 8k which is a'bit flexible than MX80..is a nightmare to me And after that i swear i will never use a flexible racket..
It depends on the strings too... would say avoid hard strings at high tension if you have this worry.
Yeah I just bought mine today so it's freshly gripped and strung. White was just a random color I chose from a bunch of RKEP grips I bought from squashmart. It does look very sexy though.
finally managed to replace my broken MX80. the new one is a USC code, 87.3g/BP285. gonna put some ZM62N@29lbs on it.
what is the usual BP for MX80? i have two MX80 with two difference balance point, one racket with BP at "0" and the other one at the letter "X" (both with strings and grip)
kwun, 285mm bp dry? That's gotta be the lowest bp I've seen on an MX series. Usually it's around 290-295mm dry.
That's pretty damn low! I had two and they were both 295/297 gross, and 299/301 net. My MX60 is in the same ballpark.
if i measured mine correctly (measured from the handle end), mine were 306/287mm (with string and towel grip)
i measure it again with a proper ruler and it turned out to be 87.3g, BP 298.5mm (11.75inches). one would think an university educated engineer would know how to use a ruler. total failed.
