Hi Ct23! Hi buddy, Fyi, not the USJ1, out of their vicinity. My uncle's group in BBBS in Petaling Jaya, near Jaya 33. His group's attendance of players very inconsistent. Sometimes too many, other times too little. You know, the group consists of businessmen, working adults and uni-students......and only 1 court. So, i am helping him and Waruichingu too. You want to come and try? Good to hear from you, how's your group doing? Regards to everyone there. Cheers, Richard
Hehe, nice group. Thank you for introduce. Richard. So the captain is your uncle, I thought he used to be your badminton partner. ps: Sorry badfornpm, two sessions too close by, so i didn't try it out. Location a bit far from where I stay.
Good morning, Waruichingu! Glad you could join the team. He is also my badminton partner lah. Planning to play a tournament in China at the end of this year, under the combined age group of 90 & above. Wanna come along with all of us? More than 70 people from our country going. Different age group, ranging from late 20's to late 60's. Former national players pun ada, Ong Ewe Hock, Jack Koh, Allan Tai, Ng Kean Kok, Moo Foot Lian, and lots more. Several ex-World Champions and international players may be participating too, like Heryanto Arbi, Sun Jun, Eddy Hartono, Indra Wijaya, etc. It is a fun thingy, like holiday-ing cum playing. For more info, you ask my uncle lah. See ya, buddy. Cheers, Richard
Tournament in China at the end of 2008: For Enjoyment and Fun . WOW...This tournament in China, at the end of this year, sounds like fun. Wishing all participants going there...... Enjoy and Have Fun. .
Greetings Australia! Hi Chris, You can play too! It is open to everyone (except current national players / players still in their respective national team). I think you have to be of chinese origin. Mostly retired superstars (Sun Jun, Heryanto Arbi), state, province, district or social players (very advanced level) enters the tournament. The name of the tournament is "World Chinese Championships". It is held in different venues every year. Malaysia host it in the year 2006, at the MBA Hall in Puchong. I think there were 600 participants from various countries that year. The Badminton Ambassador was Sally Yeh, Honk Kong superstar singer-artiste. I will try to get the website for you, if i can. I think the website is in chinese, language i mean. I am not sure whether they have an english one. Anyway, good to hear from you. Cheers, Richard
World Chinese Championships 2008 . Hi Richard, Yes, I am actually from PJ and my parents and family are still there, in Section 5. My school was La Salle PJ, so I will need an English website. And yes, I am in touch with Sally Yeh in the USA. Perhaps, if she is going, I will tag along too. Cheers... chris@ccc .
Invitation from Sally Yeh to our members@CCC . Hey Blurry D, If you get to visit San Francisco, CA, USA, say hello to Sally Yeh for me. Just tell her you play @CCC Badminton, Melbourne, Australia. If you need more info, such as addresses, phone numbers, etc... please email me. Here is an invitation to our members@CCC from Sally...... ====== ====== start invitation ====== ====== Hello Chris and all CCC Members, Just wanted to introduce our club in San Francisco, CA, Golden Gate Badminton Club 1 & 2, also known as GGBC 1 & 2. My name is Sally and I'm am the Executive Director at GGBC. I was just browsing around BC during the new year and couldn't help noticing how totally enthusiastic your CCC group is! We are far apart geographically but having the same love of badminton brings us all closer together doesn't it ? I have been to Sydney and Melbourne many times and I love Australia but those were not in my badminton days . Now we have badminton friends in Aussie and will certainly look you up if we go "down under"! We would be so happy if you can visit GGBC one day to hit some feathers together and talk "bad" talk! Alot of badminton clubs have opened in our Bay Area in the last 2 years, so if you came, you'd have plenty of action till exhaustion! Blissful exhaustion A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE IN CCC AND AUSTRALIA! Best Regards, Sally ====== ====== end invitation ====== ====== .
