Those pics of Lin Dan are very revealing. Tickets all sold out but no audience?

    MD
Chen Hung-Ling/Lin Yu-Lang will face Chai Biao/Zhang Nan in the SF tonight. MD is still the most open field. Any remaining pair can still win the Gold Medal.

    WS
Zhou Mi [1] vs Ai Goto -- the top-seed needs to regain her form to win the coveted Gold Medal in the absence of top CHN players. But Xia and Chen will not be pushovers as seen in the Team-Event SF.

Bae Seung Hee vs Yip Pui Yin [2] - Yippie should secure a SF spot.

Xia Jingyun and Chen Xiaojia are expected to breeze through their matches. This is also an open field, with Zhou, Xia and Chen being the favorites for the Gold Medal. If Zhou is likely to face both Chinese players if she's gonna add the Gold Medal to her trophy collection. Tough indeed......

    MS
Lin Dan [1] vs Hu Yun is another interesting match to watch. Super Dan should breeze through the Final, where he's expected to face Sho Sasaki yet again.

    WD
Ma Jin/Wang Xiaoli as well as Cheng Shu/Zhao Yunlei should breeze through the Final.

    XD
Ma Jin/Zhang Nan and Tao Jiaming/Zhang Yawen. The later pair should win the Gold Medal.

Korean MD Kwon Yi Goo/Kim Ki Jung won over Hashimoto/Hirata in rubber games and likely will take on China MD Sun/Tao at semifinal.

China chance to grab WS gold at individual event becomes slimmer as Xia Jingyun lost to TPE player, Tai Tzu Ying, 19-21 ; 17-21.

Ouch...and Yippie's chance of progressing to the Final gets a real boost from that result.

    WS Semifinal :

Zhou Mi (HKG) >< Chen Xiaojia (CHN)
Tai Tzu Ying (TPE) >< Yip Pui Yin (HKG)

    Possibly all-HKG-final?!

high possibility! CXJ is still lack of some ability to defeat ZM. I would like to watch two HKG in the WS tomorrow, go ZM and Yippy.
