Between 33,34 or 35. We were playing in the same place.
    Good luck.

    Hahaha...... You are surprised? ;););)

Most Pawers picked Pei Wee Chung to win, although he is being rewarded with just 10 points.

Dont think he's that old. Isnt he the self-sponsored university student?

Normally he will lose 1st round, that's why I LOL.

Should be early 20s, self sponsored player

Chan Yan Kit vs Simon Santoso [5] - a tricky tie for Simon, but as I wrote earlier, he needs to win this title badly, having won 0 title at GP/GPG level this year.

Wang Zhengming [7] vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro - can Sony regain his old form? Wang should take this one.

Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka [13] vs Teng Shih-Hua - Hayom should take this one.

Wei Nan vs Taufik Hidayat [3] - with no Lin Dan in the lower half, Taufik ought to reach the Final. But, that is very highly uncertain now, esp after another struggle today. Still, he probably will win this one.

Chan Yun Lung vs Alamsyah Yunus [15] - Alam to take this one.

Pei Wee Chung vs Tommy Sugiarto [9] - at his level now, Tommy only will face difficulty against the top 16 players.

    WS R32
    Porntip Buranaprasertsuk
[6] vs Hera Desi - it will be an upset if the INA girl can beat Porntip

Maria Febe Kusumastuti vs Pai Hsiao-Ma - if Febe cannot win this one, she does not deserve to be in Pelatnas as I had watched how Michelle Li of Canada trounced Pai in the HKG SS.

Aprilia Yuswandari vs Cheng Shao-Chieh [3] - ditto...it will be an upset if April can win.

    MD R32
    Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
[4] vs Chen Hung-Ling/Lin Yu-Lang - it will be a tricky match for Kido/Hendra and I hope they can deliver.

Patipat Chalardchalaem/Nipitphon Phuangpuapech vs Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [5] - Alvent/AG should win this.

Gan Teik Chai/Tan Bin Shen vs Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan - the last test for Rendy/Afiat in terms of their potential to remain in the National Team next year. If they lose this one, I think they need to be split.

Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra vs Chai Biao/Guo Zhendong [3] - this will be a learning experience for the young and promising INA pair.

Angga Pratama/Rian Agung Saputro vs Adrian Liu/Derrick Ng - should be a straight-forward win for Angga/Rian.

Liao Min-Chun/Wu Chun-Wei vs Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan [2] - Bona/Ahsan also need to go far in this tourney, after failing badly last week, losing in the first round of China SSP.

    WD R32
Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati [6] vs Luo Ying/Luo Yu - I don't think Vita/Nadya can beat the CHN pair.

Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine vs Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari - the only WD pair that I think can progress to R16 will be Nitya/Feinya.

Hsieh Pei-Chen/Wang Pei-Rong vs Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii [4] - Mel/Grace really needs to win this one, but, it will be tough for them given their form.

    XD R32
Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [1] vs Ko Sung Hyun/Eom Hye Won - despite being top-seeded, Towi/Butet really face a huge chance of being eliminated early yet again. If they really lose, they need some introspection!

He Hanbin/Bao Yixin vs Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati - a tough first match for Fran/Shendy in their comeback. The CHN pair to take this.

Toby Ng/Grace Gao vs Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto - a reasonable first match for Rijal/Debby...but the going gets tougher after this one.

Kim Ki Jung/Jung Kyung Eun vs Nova Widianto/Vita Marissa [8] - also a tricky first test for Nova/Butet which I hope they can win.

2011 Macau Open: Not happy about LCW and LD

    .
Talking about players who have sent in their entries to participate and then at the last moment made a withdrawal, I am not happy about it (unless it is because of injuries).

I would tell LCW and LD (and many other top players) that they shouldn't send in their entries if they are unsure of playing.

Why? Because there are many lower ranked players wishing to participate in the tournament, but they were told that entries were full (taken up by higher ranked players), and their entries were rejected.

Besides, spectators who have bought tickets to watch the top players to perform won't be happy either.

the thing is they probably entered the t'ment 3 or 6 months ago, or even longer as an insurance policy.
    i'm afraid this is life.

OK, if you are talking about their insurance policies, then they should buy some insurance policies (that they won't get injured when they are scheduled to play).

I am only thinking of those wishing to participate, but were told that they couldn't.

100% agree with you;their behaviour is unbecoming of their iconic status, disrespectful and inconsiderate towards others. Disappointed.

Anyone who has been an organizer of any sporting tournament will agree with you.
These players are selfist and unprofessional. They should have thought 3-6 months ago before registering.
    Insurance ? with somebodyelse's expenses ?

    The Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati [6] (INA)-vs-Ying Luo/Yu Luo (CHN) match was a real shocker in Game 1; VM/NM lost 09-21. :eek::eek::eek:

And YL/YL finished off the match at the 39th minute; Final score 21-09, 21-19.

Sapsiree Taerattanachai is behind in her match vs. Jiang Yanjiao :(
But Canadian Michelle Li is ahead comfortably in game one against Chan Tsz Ka :)

THA sent their full WS contingent–Rat, Porntip, Sapsiree, Salakjit, Nachaon

If WSX doesn't win this one (with or without help), she's a goner. CBA might user LXR as a minesweeper to clear the path for WSX to the final to boost her confidence. On current form, I think LXR will beat WSX
