I guess I was just feeling rich and stupid, but I got a free fake racket and bag out of it :p

Think I'll only buy from proper dealers now. also mean I'll be paying alot more for it :(

Hi Jamothy - How did you get your money back? Did it take long? Did you send the fake back to the seller?

    Just curious...

I used the Dispute function through PayPal, The seller had a very high rating and was a power seller, and so saying I had professionals take a look at detailed pictures of the racket and check the serial numbers to confirm they were fake wouldn't bode well for them, so I demanded a refund. They refunded my money and asked me not to comment or leave negative feedback. After I made sure my cash was back I left negative feedback warning all buyers and reported them to eBay! A little blackmail goes a long, long way.

P.S Even got to keep the piece of crap they sent me. Already broke it. Shattered on the first rim shot smash!

I have checked in the information of your Yonex Muscle power 10 Light Shaft Serial:9980755; Cone Code:060584ID (date=06 May 2008) to my information list of Yonex rackets Developed by Yonex Japan (on the shaft) and Made in Taiwan (on the cap), its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Good on you on all fronts!! At least they were good on the refund but I would have left the negative feedback as well. Cheeky burgers!

BTW, there are sellers of real Yonex products on Ebay. I commented on two in these forums the other day, but buyers just need to know what to look for. If anyone is unsure, then it is best to stay away from Ebay.

someone verified the EXACT same shaft serial as yours a page or two back. did you make a new account because you both have the same location? if so, you're looking to get yourself in trouble here.
