The paint and construction of the Trinity rackets is quite solid, some of the best actually. The only one that I find is actually stronger and better construction and durability is the old Zelm PP9990. But the performance doesn't compare to be honest. I'd rather have the T2 because it is much more balanced.

I have a U2 and the paint is not so good. It is peeling off by itself at the groove at the top of the racket. Definitely not because of clash or picking up shuttlecocks.

And also the usual place as my other rackets, near the border of the cone and the shaft. I guess it is the weakest point and the place where the shaft is gripped when flexing.

Ya I notice the U2 paint isn't as durable, I have many little chips along the frame from mishits. Also If you use a grip tape and it touches the graphics on the cone it may even rip the dc badminton logo right off. U1 paint job is much better then the U2 imo.

I might be a little late, but better late than never.

Australia is also receiving a shipment of the Precisions. Contact me at pandapoweraus@gmail.com to get your hands on one of these beauties :D

Unfortunately, paint durability depends on luck-of-the-draw. The T1 and U1 were good to very good in general.

Some U2s had extremely durable finishes, some not so great. The T2 was more consistent than the U2 but still some inconsistent ones.

Going forward, including the Precision, Panda has tried very hard focusing on improving the paint and finish quality.

Panda thinks you'll see the improvements in the Precision and new rackets to come. :)

Update: Panda has received quite a few "excellent" and "really, really like" reviews of the Precision via e-mail. Hope these P-Users will post soon.:)

P.S. The the most important thing so far, not one dissatisfied user...yet. :p :D

LOL! Panda counters with some reviews of the Precision mostly via e-mail and some verbal:

"Just to let you know, I really really like it and I'm looking to buy two more."

"I wanted to thank you for such a great product. After having the pleasure of using it for a couple of weeks now, I have no complaints whatsoever, and it has literally improved my game in every aspect. I'm a firm believer in giving credit where it is due, and this is definitely one of those cases."

"Wow, this thing is really solid. I'm surprised."

"Love the racket but the string is too tight for me."

    "My Precision is crazy fast."

    "Clears are effortless, impressive."

"The racket is amazing. I will buy another one."

"The Precision is good but string tension makes a difference. At first I strung it with BG65 at 25lbs. and it was too low, the racket didn't feel quite right so I cut the string and restrung it at 28lbs. and it's a completely different racket. Now it's very good."

    "Good job once again Sir."

    "Panda strikes again!"

"The racket is gorgeous, your best design yet."

    "Ooooh, this is good."

i will throw in a quick opinion about the Precision:

it really does swing crazy fast! swinging through the air, I noticed I don't really feel the increased resistance that I normally feel as the racket head reaches max speed - testament to the aerodynamic qualities of the frame.

hits feel really solid, and even with off-centre hits I feel little torquing of the frame.

lastly, i just want to give Panda a thumbs up for his great service! quick replies to email, ships really promptly (day after I ordered!), and great string job too.

Mr. danstryder, Are you a earlier user of T2, if so, please provide information regarding comparison of T2 and Precision.

I agree - my first T2 chipped very easily, the paintjob of the 2nd one is much more solid. Still, the racket performs well regardless of chips, and thats what its all about, right? :D Btw, the paint around the cone still holds strong, which isnt the case with my N50II which has really great paint quality otherwise...so I guess Im just unlucky. Apart from the paint issues at the head, the racket is really solid. Looking forward very much to receiving my 2 precisions!

That's the racket I bought, strung with BG65. And as far as how it is...

I absolutely love it. I emailed Dink and thanked him, because in all honesty, I'm now a much better player, and everyone can tell. The power that it generated really surprised me, because I knew that it was a more defensive-oriented racket. I've had it for almost a couple of weeks now, and as I continue to calibrate and adjust my timing with the added speed of the Precision, it only surprises me more. I have made a rapid jump from "one of the better players" to the guy who plays by himself if there are only 3 people available, and we play 2v1.

Being one of the lucky Precision owners, I wish I could answer more of the questions that are floating around about the T2, but I can only agree with danstryder and say that:

I was going to wait to use it more than once to say something or do a review, but I normally use 24lbs with ZM67 (doorknob prestretch, 20% prestretch on machine, 22.8/25.2) on all my rackets (see recent post in racket collection thread) except for my "fast rackets" like APACS Nano Super Light, Kason TSF, and PP10000. After some quick games, I think I may be able to up the tension. It's super powerful, and it may be too much for my style of play (my smash drop returns turned into drives that were going a little too high), so I'm going to up the tension to 26lbs to see what happens.

My preliminary review? One of the top 3 rackets I've ever tried. My style of play relies heavily on touch shots and placing shots well into the corners to force my opponent to make a mistake. (mostly because everyone here is so good at returning smashes)

I forgot to mention, one of the biggest improvements I have made in the post-Precision-purchasing era has been my clears. I really think that I am much better now at not only getting the racket on smashes my way, but returning them well. When playing defense, I've almost been able to make the frontman ineffective on shots my way, whether it be clearing deep into the corner, or – when the opportunity presents itself – a quick return that the frontman is not able to catch up with and that catches the smasher out of position.
