Kwun Great video. I'm sure that aside from rackets, many players will be eagerly awaiting news on the quality of the shuttles. Where I coach, I regularly need speed 79 and this seems to be a problem for some manufacturers. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
I think I'll wait for these racekts before buying a new racket . Thx for sharing all the nice info, kwun!
If adidas wants to send some racquets to me in Kelowna, British Columbia I'd be happy to spread the good adidas news around the okanagan
I am super excited after watching Kwun's video, looking at the innovative stuff they put into the racquets and strings it seems ADIDAS is SERIOUS about badminton....this can only be good news for the game is growing stale with yonex, victor and li ning dominating but not re-invigorating the badminton industry....time for change !!!
thanks for the unboxing video and share the excitement with all of us here , kwun.. Personally, i prefer the green/grey racket- the switch pro adidas racket.. the colour scheme is really cool and it is very creative for a badminton racket.. Besides, love the adding weight on top of the racket preference function.. With that, badminton players do not need any extra tapes to add weight on the racket anymore.. Btw, can i know the max tension for those adidas racket and how many types of grip size are there? As for the shirt/shorts of adidas badminton, i'm sure they have the 'specialty' of producing a badminton jersey which looks cool and elegant on court. Some football jersey are of great quality though, who knows they will be producing badminton jerseys with numbers on it? and not forgetting the price is 'greater' though..I'm sure too that adidas would surely know what could they do to compete with other badminton giant company like yonex, li ning and victor, they should set a reasonable price for the highest and finest quality out there... Which in this aspect I think yonex will be greatly challenged in the future.
Maybe it was said but I had a tough time hearing the part when you had the switch out. Do you k is if that little strip would fit onto other rackets? It looked like it just fit over grommets but I don't know.
No, it's a special clipping system incorporated in the frame, you wouldn't be able to use it on regular rackets.
kwun should help me to get some demos as well. I am quite intrigued with their products so far and can't wait to see how well it will do in this sport
Did you go? I was there from 3:30 to around 6 Playing in the challenge court. No one came up to say hi......
Tried the adizero pro today. Didnt have high expectation coz i am not big fan of light weight racket but I was surprised by it.
Kwun I did but the guy at the said I had to pay to go in tho I explained to him that I wasn't going to play, and I didn't bring my gear...so disappointed, and I've never seen him before either!
oh man that sucks!! do you plan to be at Bintang Milpitas on Wed? i usually get there late, after 9pm.
hehe. let me put the kids in bed first. then i will give a quick summary. and i need to work on the pic for it also. another good looking racket.
Thanks for responding to my post bud! Are you aware of which racket in Adidas' lineup that will be similar to the Yonex Voltric 80? One last thing and that's weight. Will Adidas have any rackets in the 4U range? If so, which ones?
Post #409 in the thread details racket weights. Post number is listed on the right side of the title bar for each comment. 4u is 80 to 85 gramms so at least two rackets will be in this weight range.
